 Huh When I was looking at getting a degree in special education last year, I only saw 3 options in special education: Learning & behavior, deaf, and blind Maybe it's just the universities in Illinois that I looked at or more for Master's that there is a different degree for ID and LD I am currently getting my Special Education degree in L&B while working as a para in a emotional/behavioral self-contained classroom Academically, my students I work with are across the board, but they all get frustrated easily The practice IEPs I've done so far for my classes both have students classified with intellectual disabilities though

 Coming from someone who was Born in the Lifestyle Too The Teachers Out there SLOW it down and take your time with people (Always keep in the back of Your Mind Y'all Work it People like me Live It the only time you can really understand is If you have family's members or Kids who are apart of itbrbr(Also put your students in the special needs class and Let them actually what we actually do or suggest helping out in Special Olympics it's really good program because it's going to look good on a application for college)brbr(For Highschool or any kids that are watching this Please be kind too other kids/Adults like me because we get on the wrong side of the bed like you dobrbrI have been an ID adult for 35 almost 36 years i am also legally blind in my left eye I got the best of both worlds
