Someone stole money from my checking, the bank quickly investigated and concluded that an authorized card and a correct PIN number had been used, so they declined my claim to cover the loss To state the obvious, I never handed my card to a stranger and have them my PIN number, or I never just left the card sitting around in plain view of anyone wit the pin written on it I had my card always with me One police detective was able to get a hold of the footage of one of the transactions so that can prove that it was not a case that I forgot I took a bunch of money So to summarize, a) the bank thinks I was negligent, or b) I participated in the fraud How should I proceed? Any ideas? As a side note the other branch at another police jurisdiction, according to the detective over there, that particular location is having trouble getting video or photo footage of the transactions Comment from : @celsiusfahrenheit1176 |
