I went to get the real I'd but my social card was laminated they said they could not use it but I had social security number on the paper I got from social Security card that was not laminated Could you use a Social number printed on your social Security benefit statement form SSA – 1099 thank you

I need a social security card in order to get either and ID or license but my license expired 2 yrs ago because I couldnt find my social security card when I needed it to renew my license when the time came And that was december before the pandemic hit brSo how the F*** am I able to do this? Its ridiculous you don't need to have any id at all to get arrested and booked at jail because they run your prints at the jail so they know who you arewhy cant they do this same thing at DMV's or other state/federal/government type facilities? Honestly if you are one of the few unlucky souls that have lost your id and ssc and trying to get new ones it is very very hard to get them back even if your parents go to confirm who you are they make it hard for to verify who you are even if you have your birth certificate
