Hi Lorena, I too started off as an LVN/LPN and bridged up to RN It's such a wonderful thing to accomplish, love seeing your blogs it reminds me of when I was in long term care as an LVN Now I'm at a hospital at bedside as a float RN training in all specialties, LVN's make the best RN's ;)

Hello Lorena!! I am 14 and I am wanting to become an ER nurse and maybe even an EN travel nurse and my county offers this really amazing school and it’s for 11th and 12th grade and it is basically “pre nursing school” and right out of it you can be a phlebotomist or a CNA and I’m just really passionate and can’t wait to become a nurse

How are you able to keep up with so many patients? Do you keep a log w you?
Comment from : @darkdoomhuney

what is your nurse-patient ratio? I just wonder how you can work with your long polished nails, we were taught in our School to cut our fingernails because it will harbour dirt and bacteria I am not comfortable working as a nurse with long fingernails 😊but I saw staffs LPN with tattoos and polished long fingernails and it's not good to see

I’m surprised that you prepared all of your insulin at once Don’t you run the risk of a medication error by giving the wrong patient the wrong insulin/dose?
