what should i do if my family only earn our income from flipping items? for example we need to spend like 1000 to buy something and sell it for 1700, how do we manage our money so that we still have everything you said but still enough money to get items to sell? Comment from : Eevee h |

Thank you so much for the insight on income to debt I skipped past the “most viewed videos” because you’re an everyday guy just like myself I’m about to start a new career path and I appreciate everything you do I’ll report back to you in a month or two to let you know how you’ve helped me Thanks again brother! Buddy, I work 50 hours/week 46 or so weeks/year (days closed for snow storms and 2 week family vacation) and make $28K net, $33K gross Comment from : Shae Reub |

I think it's worth mentioning that the 50/30/20 rule can be heavily skewed by income levels For example, a household making $200K a year can easily save a majority of their income because they have so much extra income above and beyond their basic needs It's hard to do the same on an income of say $30K where your needs will account for most of your expensesbrbrWhile yes, it's important to educate people on cutting and paying off bad debt, it's equally important to highlight the importance of increasing income to allow for more savings Comment from : David T |

If I was to move my old 401k from a previous employer to a new traditional ira…do I have to invest the entirety of the funds at once or do you DCA in the new IRA? Comment from : Valdo |

You hit the nail on the head for me on the fancy car cost! Both my wife and I drive older vehicles, hers is a 2013 and I drive a 2006 The key is they are paid for and have been for years This is a big part of why I have a fully funded 401k and IRA That fancy vehicle now won't matter to you in the future Comment from : 603 Outdoors |

Along the lines of trying not to lifestyle creep, I heard a suggestion in an audiobook recently to make sure 50 of significant raises go towards investing, even if you were originally only contributing a small amount, if you want to maintain the same retirement datebrbrFor example, if you were making 30K and saving 20 for 10 years and now switched jobs and make 100Kyou can't really just save 20 of 100k and expect to be able to retire when you would have and maintain your new 80K lifestyle The 10 years of saving 6K are now much less significant, so you kind of NEED to get used to living off a lower now or you will have to choose between a worse or later retirement Comment from : TubaHeroGaming |
