has the possibility been considered that most of what they are finding as far as structures under the earth, ie cavities are simply natural formations and that all those ancient visitors to this island had explored those cave systems and while they did store away "loot" into chambers, they simply used the existing cave systems and adding a few feeder tunnels and the trap tunnels to flood the system in case of future looting

I have worked underground digging /blasting /timbering/mucking looking for old abandoned river/stream channel for potential alluvial placer gold we encountered old round timber which turned out to be from long ago miners so they beat us to the good spots by 150 years one thing unmistakable is the hollow sound you get when thumping against a boulder or timber with a sledge or pick that has been excavated /loosened from behind it in the past is that a tunnel leading to a treasure trove or is it one that was used to take out the treasure later on sometime🤔
