I always chuckle that every find is treasure related They find an axe head, and it was used to cut wood for the treasure chamber Every rusty old nail was used for making a treasure chest An old horse shoe, they used horses to carry the heavy treasure I just can't help but chuckle

I feel so bad for these guys because they are so relatable and genuine it makes you really want to see them find it but think about it, if you found the treasure in the 1800s, (or even now)r would you have actually told anyone? or Would you have just backfill the hole and walked away with your treasure? It would be foolish to tell, you have a target on your back Not only from criminals, but from the government wanting to take it from you, This was back in the day before forensics and crime investigation, even coverups would've been much easier I think the logical answer is they would've kept it a secret so If there was a treasure, I think it's long since gone And it's in somebody's family vault With generations sworn to secrecy, and I don't blame them But I would love to be wrong

Ok, I'm a dolt who keeps watching, but why when they find say a circa 500 AD Chinese coin or anything is it always 2 feet below ground? What I'm saying is if I threw a quarter in my yard would "Nature" say after 1000-1500 years just naturally absorb it or is everything they find, say the stone roadway purposely covered? Take the Pyramids in South America (Aztecs) they were abandoned and the jungles sort of overgrew everything and were sort of lost, except now with I think LIDAR or whatever the tech they are able to spot from above The pyramids themselves did not become 2 feet lower Is that a good analogy?brSteve
