I had a 1849D a couple years ago my coin guy at the time convinced me to sell it to him for $1400 I later found out it was worth up to $25,000 needless to say he's no longer my coin guy and it was in superb condition it had been in a box of things that was left to a friend of mine when he asked me if I wanted to buy it I said yes !!
