Going with a MS 62 In light of it's general lack of ware, despite the amount of surface marks, and the hinting, of some strike issue that may explain the large, more notably visual marks, seen on both the obverse and reverse

No this is about AU 55 - some light softness in the details' highlights, the big scuff on it downgrades it from UNC and with all the contact marks and scratches it was handled BUT as it has its luster and details are quite strong The reddish copper spot may be one of two things: copper spots that result simply from the long term even with MS due to oxidation with the 10 copper of the coin OR a blemish from acid or some other corrosive chemical to test if it was a gold coin at one time I lean to the latter

So The Mint is forgoing the 2023 burnished eagle, because of the introduction of the morgan & piece silver dollars I'm pumped over the reintroduction of both morgan & peace dollars, and hope this mintage series lasts Is the burnished eagle now a thing of the past?brthe coin in the video seems to be a #68brHowever; if I had the coin in hand with a loop, it might get rated higher It almost has proof qualities about it, even though no Proofs were produced that year

I would go with MS61 I would guess the blemish on the Rev can be caused by impurities in the metal mixture

I seen that Half cent as a problem coin too I don’t think it was recolored but did look lightly cleaned and has residue I guess Au53 because I don’t think you would put a details coin in the challengebrPerhaps you should go ahead and do a details coin here and there to keep us on our toes

Ms63br Ngc is way too generous on gold imo so I think they went with 63 although I see it as a 62 with blemishes so I’d grade it 61

I'd grade this MS 62 That may seem a bit low, but I see a lot of chatter on the obverse The lengthy verticle streak doesn't help its case for a higher grade Up close, there also appears to be chatter or a bag mark at the tip of the nose The reverse does look better but lacks luster (IMO) I've no idea what the mark is on the reverse

Cleaned UNC Details 77, it was for me a MS63 just by the obverse, but when you showed the reverse down it goes to Details
