I grew up with a Epilepsy, and the medications I was on reduced my seizures, but it messed up my ability to remember things I got put in Special Ed until students my age graduated Grade 12 Music was my Strength, but the Colleges and Universities refused to accept People with Disabilities, informing me "The Safety of Thousands in More Important than the Pleasures of Just One"

The real answer should be, yes you can but you shouldn't because college is not meant for people with learning disabilities Speaking from experience they do not empathize nor care for you to succeed The "accommodations" they have don't help It's a Bullshit

I been to the community college in Bel Air Maryland But , I like to go back to college in another state I have a learning disable ,and I did get help from the college in Maryland I am a older college student I like to have new skills that I can use in my life New classes at a college at my own pace Maybe one class at a time I need new skills for my life ,so I can go forward in the world

I haven't ever had help in college, even with my learning disability and mental problems I need more time to recall information, especially in math I will eventually solve this with "Math for the Humanities" I enjoy learning about math I don't have the memory for it, however I did try to use my disability one time just to see, and my instructor ignored me I made an A in her class Sometimes, thanks to Madonna and Bjork, it's hard for me to think logically about a passage This summer will be donated to the classics for that reason I retook Creative Writing to prep for World Literature 2 I have a high grade right now, but I did diagnose a character as having dementia instead of losing social status and in his own little head Now that I've become aware of it, it's less of a problem I am putting certain objects around the house to work on my short-term memory and recall

My daughter got withdrawn from the university because of her learning disability and struggling the university told my daughter she can't go to college or the university they kicked her out isn't that illegal what can I do to help her get back in to school

In the state of California you have the California brDepartment of Vocational Rehabilitation, theybrwill not payfor Ivy League colleges, you either go brto a community college, or go work for minimum brwage at Walmart, or go join the US Navy I was in the program in the 1990’s The community college brprogram, was no good, they pick what you can and can’t do I had to go get a local government job, jest to a career, college is no good
