56 and just started on my piano journey, week 2,2 lessons so far I,m semi retired now, so have plenty of spare time to practise, currently 4x15 mins per day I am going to continue with the private lessons but will supplement them with your youtube video lessons as they are more fun 😂for my first piano I bought the Roland FP10 after your recommendation video for beginners and I absolutely love itI live in an apartment so I plug in the headphonesno one knows im learning so hopefully by the end of the year I can surprise my family with some xmas songs This is a great lessonThank You

This is very helpful for beginners but I'd recommend turning the sheet music into a moving sheet music or just putting another sheet music above The transition is too fast and you can't catch up if you forget what the next measure is

I have always looked at a sheet music and felt dizzyit seemed like there is so much going on So I focused on just playing chords but I lacked the dexterity that comes from reading and playing sheet music I have only done to day 3 and I can begin to see how easy it can get with practice I can begin to see the patterns and my left hand is learning how to move with ease You are a great teacher Lisa ❤

Well i did the whole thing on guitar I'm a rather advanced player, but i always wanted to learn to read actual notes, and not just tabs, so this video was very helpful! Plus it was fun to try to figure out how to play the rhythm and lead parts at the same time, i felt like a classical guitarist haha Thank you for the great explanations, the intervals and landmark notes parts especially, because this is something that helped me a lot with memorizing the notes on the fretboard when i was starting out!
