this tax on assumed returns on assets makes me so sad this is so not fair! in my country (Czech Republic) it is 0 taxes if you sell your assets after 3 years and more :(

I wish the future tax plans in the Netherlands were just regular capital gains, but the current plans are for a tax on unrealised gains, so you pay even when you don't sell This is really bad for long-term returnsbrbrBy the way there is no dividend tax, there is dividend withholding tax, but that is paid by the company that pays the dividend, not by the investor When doing your taxes, you can get that 15 back
