I'm 73 yo woman and have 2 molar implants, one for up to 15 years now Currently getting a 3rd one after bone graft heals Only drawback is that the oldest implant molar has experienced some bone loss, and food packs down in the gum there, so I have to floss that tooth almost every time I eat (However, I'm told the dentist that did the crown on that implant made the crown slightly too small)

I had a homemade lower denture that was anchored by 4 remaining lower teeth and I was able to eat everything and it stayed in all day Now I have a bottom denture that flops around, no matter how I try to secure it I will need implants, sadly

Our daughter is 17, almost 18 and has no adult molar #18 or #31 and no wisdom teeth She saw a new dentist today at the same practice we had been going to, and they are recommending implants on these molars She has molar #2 & #15, that she says are super erupting She has no discomfort or pain up until this time Based on your possible broad opinion, we should wait until after 21 to do any of this possible extensive work Thank you!! I took great care of my teeth and they still deteriorated I lost 2 molars, 2 are now under crowns and unfortunately recently I found out that the roots started to deteriorate and I need to extract them I constantly have cavities developing in my teeth despite brushing and flossing I don't know what to do anymore

Dental work is expensive I got a partial plate when I was 17 I had really bad teeth in the top front and a couple on the bottom I wouldn't look at people when I spoke to someone When I got the dental work done, it was great to not put my hand over my mouth, when I spoke to someone I would love to have implants

I was told 19 years ago I’d lose all my teeth in a few years still have all my teeth and told them they were nuts expecting me to rip out all my teeth at 27 years old and get implants i went out of my way to ask them what happened at 46 I still have all my teeth they had no comment for me and they told me to get out I’m so glad i didn’t fall for implants that cost $43,000 dollars 🤨
