So you probably need an an Aussie/British perspective on the Bad News CD They are a troupe of famous British comedians Rik Mayall and Ade Edmondson wrote and starred in several legendary cult comedy TV series (famous outside of North America at least) including the Young Ones & the series that Bad News come from: Comic Strip Presents Bad News were a made up band, starring the actors from the Comic Strip Presents TV show Some of them did have some actually musical ability but the band, the songs and any media releases, albums, tours etc were all spoof Comedy jest, just like cult hit movie/band Spinal TapbrAn interesting side note for you Jason since I know you love your pop culture knowledge Nigel Planer, the actor who plays Bad News's rhythm guitarist, had a massive pop hit in 1984 with a cover of Traffic's 1967 song Hole In My Shoe It was a chart hit in several European countries as well as Canada, Australia & New Zealand You should check out the TV Series Comic Strip Presents and The Young Ones Not traditional American comedy but important gems of 80s culture that a lot of Americans will have missed The Young ones had a guest band play a song in most episodes Bands included The Damned, Madness & Motorhead Sorry for the long message I hope you do get something out of it since I've learnt tons from you Jason Cheers Denny

Lol Bad Newsgood findsman those low level 80s bands cds go for big bucks now The good thing is the hard rock and metal fans are still a good market Had I have known back around 91ish I used to come across tons of them in the dollar bins at the exchange stores
