I always wonder why in UK the drivers are taught to do this thing with the steering wheels (milk the cow as we say) In Poland you should keep the hands on 9 and 3 o clock (or 10 and 2) but relavite to the steering wheel If the wheel is upside down you wouldn't grab it at 3 and 9 as you are looking at it upside down, but rather in a way, so when the wheel returns to it's default position you are grabbing it at 3 or 9

That's a very rooky thing that is important to address early so it doesn't become a habit I see it often when slowing down too People go immediately on the clutch and waste a lot of engine brake and add momentum to the vehicle which in turn makes you rely even more on the brake pedal A good driver should feel comfortable in every rev range high and lows
