American cannot pay for food housing and utilities because of inflation what benefit would be gained by going back to the moon or Mars We have already been to the moon and outside of a few science experiments gained nothing Only a few elite people go or will go to Mars It will in no way benefit most if the people on earth If private people like Musk want to spend their money to go that is great But when many Americans nit afford the basics of life it is wrong to use tax dollars to go to the moon The first time we Went it was mostly to show superiority over Russia nothing more than bragging rights was ever accomplished

NASA is still a better use of funds than the multiple redundant intelligence agencies we have to name a few the CIA FBI NSA FCC and homeland security they basically overlap in areas already merged them and save the admin cost and the inefficiency cost of the different agencies fighting for funding Homeland security is just the CIA but domestic ops only
