I am retired and interested in 90 silver is it better to have halves,quarters and dimes or as some say get mostly dimes?I believe bad times are on the way

I thought most all the coin dealers in Central PA were crooks until I went into a Pawn Shop yesterday? They take the spot at the bottom of the barrel, moving Car Dealers up on spot? I was a little short on my mortgage payment this month and had some nice diamond and RARE stone men's rings to get a loan on? The guy looked them over carefully and asked "how much do you want for them"? I knew exactly what he was up to but I was dumb enough to tell him? For the three very expensive rings I did not get close to what I needed, a few cents on the dollar of their total value? He said Loan or Purchase is the same price? We only buy for the gold value, not the stones? But I could guarantee you if he bought them and resold them they would be back to original value? Just like the coin dealers in Central PA depending on which side of the counter you are determines the value?

So I've been out of the loop for a minute, what just happened, last I looked at junk silver I believe the premium was $65, I can easily source it for $3 now, and even though the spot is higher now that adds up to sub 19x vs 20x when the spot was sub $20brDid the community just gave up on it, are people that hungry for fiat?brDon't get me wrong I never cared to pay more than 2x the premium on junk vs fresh mint rounds, but even those came down some since I last bought any sub $20 spot I believe I was finding rounds for about++$3, now +$2

Here in vegas i got from a private seller 1 dime for 2 bucks, 1 quarter for 5 bucks, 1 halve for 10 bucks, and 1 oz for 35

I've been getting a lot of modern commemorative 90 silver dollars and 250th anniversary 90 silver half dollars They're US minted, brilliant uncirculated, already come in capsules, come with COAs and boxes, oh and I'm getting them for 10 under spot, so really I'm getting them at spot price The halves cost a little more but that's always how it goes with fractional I'm actually hesitant to post this because apparently most people don't know these things even exist

I love your videos I should say that a two-party consent state for recording does not apply to you if you're calling from a one-party consent state You are bound by the law in which the state you originated the call from In Indiana, the law is a one-party consent state Therefore you can call anyone in the US and record them during the conversation as long as you consent to it I appreciate all of your videos keep up all of your hard work for us stackers

My LCS in central FL is paying +$4 over spot for all 90, and selling for spot +$650 He doesn’t do x xFace for junk silver His buy prices on all bullion is very good/excellent

I pay $20 for Mercury, Walking Libs and Franklins and $1850 for Wash quarters and FDR dimes $10 face of Mercury, Walking Libs and Franklins sell in the $240 to $250 range and $10 face of Wash quarters and FDR dimes only sell for $225 range, so you have to have a lower price for Wash and FDR

My LCS was desperate for 90 so I sold $1300 face for 23 per one dollar He sold me gold at a great price I know he turned around and slid the 90 at a profit

Not 90, but, I went over 1 town to a coin and jewelry store They pay, all the time for silver 1 oz rounds, and coins, $50 over spot, and sell for $700 over spot Won't be buying there anytime soon I live in Wisconsin, so we have tax on that too!

I'm looking online for Constitution silver and finding it to be roughly 36 bucks an ounce Stackers can get silver for under 30 bucks an ounce Except for the collectable aspect of something that's no longer around, is it really worth it to stack this? Here is a report from Southern New Hampshire - The local coin shop brBeginning of last week (5/15/23) 235 x Face for dimes and quarters, 26 x face for 1/2s and dollars End of last week (5/19/23) dimes and quarters were 24 x face and 1/2s and dollars were still at 26 x face Was happy to pay it given some of the prices I have been seeing They had VERY little in stock brLocal coin show - several dealers selling dimes and quarters at 26+ x face

It would be cool (and easy) and helpful to stop with the "times face" and just do the math and say what the price is over spot Also every time they answer your question with "how much" come on If that's important to them just say the differences in prices to qty up front I think it would be appropriate to respond with "why?"

They're paying $1950x Face Value for 90 at my LCS in Maine this morning They're selling 90 at $2150x Face Value The $2 spread between what they're paying vs selling has been pretty consistent since February at this particular LCS
