I agree with you on the JEPI ranking, I'm not too impressed with the principal and in my opinion often it's declines erase some of the dividends which kind of defeats the purpose Since markets spend more time going up than down (not only overall long term historical trends but also total amount of days) I don't think it makes sense to use such a bearish strategy when they could write cash secured puts instead Such as PUTW and similar ETFs However, a sharp drop in the underlying can wipe out a lot of cash, just like a sharp drop in the underlying of JEPI can wipe out a lot of share price value (which in this case would be realized when slower strike price covered call gets assigned and forces a sale of the underlying at a loss) sobrbrWith all this being said, if I were to diversify my manual options strategies with an investment in one of these ETFs I'd be interested in hearing your thoughts about how covered call ETFs compare to cash secured puts ETFs I'd love to see you do a video on this

My biggest issue with ETFs is the lack of optimization Significant swings in any single stock within the ETF can drag down your portfolio That said, ETF or not, I don’t think the stock market is showing any signs of slowing down I’m looking to invest around $60K, but I’m not fully confident in my abilities just yet

This morning my almost $7000 investment in ARKK is up 498 Yes, I sold ARKK at the top, but when it went down to $38 a share I started buying back in I think my lowest share price was about $34 or $36 If you want a set it and forget it fund ARKK is not for you But if you pay attention to your holdings and make sound decisions when to buy and sell the volatility of ARKK can yield S&P beating returns Even Ms Woods has said ARKK should be only part of your portfolio Regardless of your investment portfolio composition careful management of a portfolio is key No one type of ETF works all of the time

An ETF that wasn’t mentioned this video that’s super underrated is SCHG Has a healthy but not overwhelming amount of tech, so it gives you some diversification Super low expense ratio at 004 I like it more than QQQ/QQQM personally, it’s similar in concept but has performed better in the past year and ever so slightly better in the past 5 years
