Why would a lender say 'ok, we won't run your credit', they have no hard evidence for what you qualify for, maybe it's just my experience with auto finance, but these people are d*cks, they will run your credit immediately with no consideration for you're concern of your credit score 👍

Would I be able to find a better deal going with conventional / higher downpayment? Is it worth giving up the first time buyer deal?

I’m at a 720, but I can’t seem to pay off one credit card, and I pay off double my suggested (minimum) which is $200, so I keep paying around $400 (200 twice a month/each check, because that’s all I can spare), but I get charged $200 each month on top of that for interest, so I’m technically still paying off the minimum… and it stays the same…
