SEL is so important! I cannot stress enough how much it would alleviate the American Mental Health Crisis, and maybe even help with the opioid epidemic, to help students acquire necessary coping mechanism for trauma before trauma every happens Desperation for purpose and well-being can lead people to detrimental conditions, it leads to drug abuse and escapism I cannot stress enough how important it is that our students have a sense of emotional understanding and a direction in life before they leave schools Our education system is failing the American youth!
