Cache your money in PVC Piping (plenty of How to videos on YouTube) Bury the Tubes in well hidden places underground They won't burn up in a house fire and very unlikely to be stolen in a house robbery The cash will be in a watertight container that is good for 50 years or more You can thank me later Comment from : @Archangel0804 |

I have a phased financial backup plan (1) well stocked pantry/food storage/medical/pew-pew, (2) checking account with sufficient for all (planned) expenses for a few months, (3) saving/money market with sufficient for 1 year of all planned expenses (minus grocery - that's in the pantry) this is also my I have cash to throw at a largish opportunity, (4) cash on hand (amount has varied usually around 5-10K this is for the quick turn deals (5) other investments that are less liquid (Crypto, Metals, Investment Accounts), (6) Credit Cards with no balance and low rates (often 0) equal in credit lines to our household income - these are less for use and more for credit rating purposes but they have been used on occasions when "other peoples money" was the best approach to a particular opportunity (this is NOT a strategy I recommend for most people, but it works for us - never carry balances is our standard default) It took years to get in place and each was done through stretch goals in each area Are we perfectly secure - no, but we can weather a lot of storms and take advantage of an opportunity that presents itself Comment from : @rode792 |
