I understand exactly why you bought a 1 kilo coin I purchased the 2020 1 kilo sitting bull silver coin from Samoa The mintage is a low 199 coins and to me it's more of a piece of art than it is a coin I doubt I'll ever get my money back out of it but I knew that when I purchased it The fine detailed art work was worth it If you've never seen this coin up close you should go take a look at The Coin Shoppe

I got one when it was first released It's a beauty, and it is an important piece in my Britannia collection There are other pieces I'm still seeking out while waiting for the right price and condition, but this was an easy trigger-pull for me And yes, first thing I did after examining it was to pull off the capsule and give it a blow with the lens cleaner, tons of dust/fabric shards on it, looked horrible before I blew it off I'm very curious what the final mintage count is going to be on these

I collect mostly 10oz and 1 kilo coins I have quite a few 1 kilos including the completer (my favourite piece) and I so desperately wanted the 1kilo Britannia It's an absolutely stunning coin However, I just can't pay the price for it I usually pay between £720 - £840 for my kilos, and the cheapest I could find this one for was just shy of £1000 As much as I love it and want it, I can't justify that price and will have to sadly go without it which breaks my heart 😢brbrEDIT: I posted this comment halfway through the video before I got to the bit near the end saying you didn't want people moaning about the price in the comments sorry 🤣
