This deceptive practice criminalizes natural variability and falsely suggests that instability before industrialization was the norm, when in reality, brEarth's climate has always undergone natural fluctuations independent of human activitybrbrSetting climate variations at the time of industrial revolution parameters as the zero or the before and after calling them "ANOMALIES" is a FRAUD!!! brbrReasoning:brThe climate before industrialization was not stable—it went through ice ages, warming periods, and natural CO₂ fluctuationsbrBy labeling any modern deviation as an “anomaly,” climate propagandists falsely imply that pre-industrial times were a period of perfect stabilitybrThis deception fuels the idea that any climate change today is unnatural and caused by human activity, rather than a continuation of Earth's natural variability Comment from : @MrBenumea |

The False Notion That Pre-Industrial Earth Was in a Better StatebrTranscript: Belisario Hernandez Romo PhD brThe idea that Earth and all living things were in a better state before the Industrial Revolution is based on romanticized assumptions rather than scientific evidence In reality, this belief ignores critical factors such as lack of data, technological limitations, and human hardship before modern advancementsbrbr1 No Reliable Measurements Before the Industrial RevolutionbrOne of the most important flaws in this belief is that before industrialization, there were no reliable methods, instruments, or scientific knowledge to determine the Earth's physical conditions:brbrTemperature Records Were Inconsistent – Reliable thermometers were not widely available until the 17th century, and global temperature records were virtually nonexistent before the 19th centurybrCO₂ and Atmospheric Data Were Inaccessible – The ability to measure carbon dioxide and other atmospheric gases only became possible in the 20th century Before that, everything is based on inference, not direct measurementbrClimate and Environmental Conditions Were Assumed, Not Proven – Ancient and pre-industrial societies had no systematic way to measure sea levels, glacial movement, air quality, or biodiversity changes Any claim about the past being “better” is built on assumptions rather than verifiable databr2 Life Before Industrialization Was Harsh and UnsustainablebrThose who argue that the Earth was in a “better” state before industrialization ignore the widespread suffering, disease, and environmental challenges of that era:brbrHuman Life Expectancy Was Low – In 1750, global life expectancy was about 30-35 years Today, thanks to industrial progress, it is over 70 years worldwidebrMass Deforestation and Natural Resource Use Existed – Civilizations overused resources long before industry The Roman Empire, Mayans, and early Chinese dynasties caused deforestation, soil depletion, and species extinction without modern technologybrFamine and Disease Were Common – Without industrial agriculture and medicine, societies were vulnerable to starvation, plagues, and extreme weather eventsbr3 Nature Itself Was Not “Stable” Before IndustrializationbrThe notion of a "balanced" natural world before human industry ignores Earth’s natural history of extreme climate shifts and disasters:brbrMass Extinctions Happened Without Human Influence – The Earth has gone through five major extinction events due to natural causes, long before human industry existedbrThe Little Ice Age (1300–1850) – A period of global cooling and harsh winters devastated pre-industrial societies, showing that climate change is not just a modern phenomenonbrNatural Disasters Were Unmeasured – Volcanoes, earthquakes, and hurricanes occurred just as frequently in the past, but without industrial technology, people had no way to measure, predict, or mitigate thembrConclusion: A Flawed Historical AssumptionbrThe belief that the world was in a “better state” before industrialization is based on nostalgia, incomplete historical knowledge, and the absence of scientific data In reality:brbrThe past was not scientifically measured, so comparisons to today are unreliablebr Pre-industrial societies suffered from famine, disease, and environmental depletionbrNature itself has always been dynamic and sometimes destructive, with or without human impactbrbrThe Industrial Revolution improved human life, increased knowledge, and provided tools to understand and address environmental challenges better than ever before Claims of a past utopia are nothing more than a myth built on incomplete historical inferencebr Belisario Hernandez Romo PhD Comment from : @MrBenumea |

Trump planning to eliminate FEMA Sorry RedStates Lol 😆 Comment from : @silvanusforth1180 |

Dr Hanson prediction of sea level rise is flawed We would have to be seeing exponential growth to see his graphic predictions be anything but suspectbrWe have had sea level rise but at nothing like that predicted When will he predict a lower level of rise Comment from : @3D-Companions |

It’s all over, I’m off to build my bunker! 😢 Comment from : @glennO-e9r |
We are over 555 ppm CO2(e) based on 100 year, and over 750 ppm CO2(e) short term (which actually counts) We were toast lon long ago Continuing to use CO2 without the other warming gases though scientifically correct, is also a sophisticated lie Comment from : @tunneloflight |
31:20 it’s ALL ABOUT the HUMANS!!! This planet is functionally DOOMED Comment from : @TCRgalaxy |

So although every thinkable tool of pressure has been put on the various western populations to reduce the global warming effect, it still acceleratedbrIn other words, the 15000 Evs that Austria bought did not contribute to a reduction? Unbelievable I am shocked Comment from : @sepo3451 |
Good, let's get this party started Can we accelerate it somehow? Comment from : @dieselphiend |

6:37: Why isn't the most recent blip marked as one of the "Super El Ninos"? We know there has been an El Niño during that period and the blip is much bigger that the ones marked "Super El Ninos"🤔 Comment from : @normanstewart7130 |

I wanted to buy the Scout motors Terra pickup Not die in 3 years 😮 Comment from : @xlargetophat |

Once you understand and accept human nature, you'll have no choice but to accept that the problem will never be fixed Every potential solution will either be rejected or corrupted We made a choice to escape the horrors of nature but it came with a sooner expiration date As far as I'm concerned, it was worth it, quality over quantity Comment from : @synical13 |
First off, your smarter than me so not an insult lol Wouldn't sea level rise from glaciers, space dust, Saharan, dust, river silt and the many sea craft set a floatalong with volcanic activities like debris and dust cause sea level rise corrupting the base numbers from original studies? Seems people for get about displacement of water and how it affects the ice right above the water line causing it to melt faster adding to water rise Thanks for posting Comment from : @twe73jr |

Well, if you live down here south of The Hat It has been a LOOOOONG week Comment from : @kaupaxup |

A Rhetorical Question: Who is suppressing the new energy sources other than the very weak renewables? It is obviously an emergency now, but we have had the Pop Exp (add - ulation and -losion) Comment from : @eev24eshmolikali |

Could global warming lead to an ice age? Comment from : @Ufu4847 |

Climate scientists are not talking about mitigating climate change They are now talking about how we can survive 26 Or can we 🫤 Comment from : @rhonndataciak7834 |

What’s not taken into account is all the jet exhaust shading the globe, as well as all the satellites that are shading the planet! Comment from : @Marvinmartion |
I’ve seen a similar chart for an area deep lake He went back to the late 1800’s to present And his chart showed the same diagonal line pattern! As in ice in and ice out for the lake Last year it never froze! Stats don’t lie! Comment from : @Marvinmartion |
Oh no We're gonna need a LOT more nuclear power and maybe aerosol emissions from airliners to control this Comment from : @tahustvedt |
Ice age ended 10,000 years ago, we had too many factories, don't forget the ice caps have melted 20 years ago Comment from : @N4CR |

World temperatures have dropped 03 degrees in the last 9 months, and is continuing, this here you are putting out is misinformation, you need to stop Comment from : @Enl1thened1 |
The single biggest driver of climate change is the animal agriculture industry Until you can talk about why you eat meat, whatever you say doesn't matter Its like discussing which colour bandaid you need, instead of how to stop falling down 😮 Comment from : @KerriEverlasting |
Paul, you've really been complaining about Trump lately Have you finally figured out Kamala was the one to support on your channel 4 months ago? How you liking Trump telling Trudeau the US wants to annex Canada? Bet you're thrilled you helped keep the Dems from winning the presidency brbrFew people in this world know more than you about climate science and fewer have your teaching skills I just wish you'd had stayed the hell out of politics Please shut up about Trump It's way too little too late Comment from : @solarwind907 |
“Getting rid of aerosols accelerated warming” A curious perspective since one could say “historic aerosol generation by humans partially offset global warming effects, an aerosol generation activity that itself contributes to accelerating warming (ie fossil fuels combustion to power said aerosol generators)” It would be rigorous to include the contribution to global warming via CO2 and NOx emissions commensurate with that higher sulfur aerosol generation, as well as the lower sulfur aerosol generation, since these gases from ship fossil fuels combustion certainly contribute to global warming effects Or maybe these were accounted for, but were either found insignificant or diluted the paper’s argument Comment from : @jaymacpherson8167 |
How the hell we going to do SRM safely? Comment from : @MrGman6897 |

With all this global warming, maybe we will get temperatures to return to the Roman warm period! I have had too much of all this snow and ice! Comment from : @drewdam8871 |
Excellent news, 450ppm, and we are heading for a lovely green planet Earth! Comment from : @drewdam8871 |
Thanks Paul Not enough people are putting pieces of the puzzle in perspective in context of what Hansen saysbrbrIn Queensland Australia we have a coastal region roughly the length of 1100km or so under severe flooding So, we can see the equatorial shifts in a big way, with some areas having as much as 1000mm of rain in a single daybrbr Bushfire and heatwaves conditions are catastrophic in Western Australia and VictoriabrbrBut people are still just going on as if its business as usual Nothing to see Comment from : @CeoraSaxophones |
Lol, climate nuts change historical data to fit there narrative, they can't use any of their models to look backwards to reproduce the past It's all fake! Comment from : @johngordon9426 |
It’s imperative that we immediately shut down China, the largest producer of CO2 by far It’s not even close Comment from : @gj1234567899999 |
I have seven siblings Not one wants our carbon pricing to continue Comment from : @ecocentrichomestead6783 |
It seems to me that global warming has not just accelerated, it is continuing to accelerate And human perception is not optimal for purposes of understanding acceleration--especially when we're in denial brbrSo even when we recognize the problem, we probably won't do enough to stop it Comment from : @muleface1066 |
Can't seem to get ourselves off fossil fuels brSome people can't get themselves off alcohol Comment from : @ecocentrichomestead6783 |
So if the shipping particulate emissions are eliminated, sulfur dioxide geoengineering will actually work a lot better Comment from : @glike2 |
Hansen's political and economic platform is excellent But there is one problem with the brainwashed media having a very negative effect on civilian control over war making Cleaning up media misinformation propaganda from foreign adversaries and billionaire oligarchs is absolutely essential Also many politicians are funded by special super, foreign adversaries and billionaire oligarchs Comment from : @glike2 |
Youd think at some point mass deaths from starvation, natural disasters, viruses etc will slow down the output of co2 and other environmental degradation Comment from : @NickBrowning-lk1oj |

I once had a lot of respect for Jeffrey Sachs who has achieved a lot, but in the last few years I have noticed he has very strange and bad political positions He repeats the completely wrong Russian talking points on Ukraine sovereignty I believe he also has a similar bad position on Taiwan sovereignty Has he been bribed by Russian and Chinese money ? Obviously war is bad for carbon emissions but in this situation it might help by getting Russia to reduce its fossil fuels production Russia is maybe the worst country for conflict of interest and no concern about the warming climate because they like it I saw an analysis by a young climate scientist that looked at the sensitivities of all the climate models ensembles that went into the ICCP climate assessment report It appeared that the Russian models had been deliberately tweaked to make less warming Russia invested billions in Arctic oil and wants the Arctic to melt with its massive Icebreaker fleet to take advantage of the North passage At least the Middle Eastern countries are building out huge solar power and trying to diversify their economies Ukrainian sovernty is not negotiable USSR 20 CAN NOT BE ALLOWED Russian economy collapse and Russian federation breakup is preferable This could even lead to an opportunity to dismantle more Russian nuclear weapons that are totally useless if they are even maintained at all Comment from : @glike2 |
Rot Total rot Comment from : @MrAabbccddeeffgg |
With all due respect, but there was a recent paper stating that there is not enough data to decide whether warming is accelerating I think this issue is still undecided ( Those curve fittings can be problematic and it's easy to jump to conclusions) Comment from : @corvinc888 |
Are you going to ever run for political office or are you going to lib cry your way to the apocalypse? Everyone rational already knows! Put your gloves on and get in the ring! Run for whatever political office you can and start fixing things Don't let the morons run the whole world into the ground Comment from : @frictionhitch |
