A trick I do is well I get paid every Friday and have 2 banks ( local and online) When my money reaches my Local account I send X amount of dollars to the Online account which take 3-4 days , once that money reaches the account I send it back immediately to the local account which takes another 3-4 days shit by time that happens I done got paid again!!! #Repeat

I think point no 9 (personal financial app) should come earlier in the list For years I had always failed to keep track of my finance using some kind of note book, until last year a financial advisor encouraged me to use a personal financial app And I love it! Still using it and have no intention to stop Next thing I know, I have been doing every other point of advice mentioned in this list And I don't think I am being frugal, i have spent more on some but have cut down on some By keeping track of the money, I become more mindful with my money state and the awareness feels coming naturally

I make a simple budget every month by just writing down on paper my income and my expenses as I make them That way I don't usually spend more than I take in This month I went over my budget because I bought a much needed office chair I had to do this to relieve myself of the pain I have been experiencing! But now I won't spend anymore money this month and I had the money for the purchase in my account because of surplus cash from earlier months!

I'm currently running a small business it's kinda hard to estimate income to do a budget because it's volatile but i kinda had 15/10/5 rule so i set aside 15 of my profit each month to invest on business , 10 in high yield savings account for down payment house , 5 for daily use
