At your shop do u have to sell a minimum of 40$ in one transaction to make a sale? They said that at my coin shop to my friend I wonder if they would have said it to me tho because I have bought plenty from them and sold plenty to them They never told me that usually just make sure they can make a few bucks off me Probably just are doing that rule now because they were tired of doing transactions for like 15$ just to make a few dollars and have to hold the product and time is basically wasted🎉

GSA today sells oodles of government excess items or those from offices when they close I bought my truck from them, and got it for $7K under blue book at the time, since that's how the auction panned out Just in the course of doing appraisals for people, I bet they see some really cool stuff!

An appraisal of a collection can be for insurance purposes, for sale to the appraiser, or to have an appraisal valuation for possible later sale to a third party These valuations will differ significantly The appraisal shown was apparently of the second type A discussion of types of appraisals and how they would vary in purpose would have been helpful for your audience

Honestly, this was amazing Brought back a really cool memory One time when I was maybe 8-10 years old, I ordered a 1 pound bag of world coins mail order back in the 80's Going through them was absolutely fascinating to me There were coins from countries that didn't even exist anymore I ended up learning a ton about world history and geography, plus currencies and exchange rates, and even about different forms of governments, and that different countries even used different metals in their coins The fact quite a few used aluminum, meant the 1 pound bag actually had way more coins than you might think lol I strongly recommend it if you have kids into coins! I bet you'll learn a ton too

The most I have spent so far on a graded coin is the silver 2024 Flowing Hair Metal non -privy in MS 69, seems they didn't make that many remakes of the 1794 coin

Just as here in the US, in areas that were poor and/or just insufficient amounts of coins available vendors made and used tokens The same for clipped coins Have a penny, need a half penny, cut the penny in half
