I'm half Grenadian Half Jamican and very ethnically mixed I feel like I should learn creole However I can speak a bit of spanish I thought you speaking creole learning spanish would be easy, French, spanish,Italian and Portugese are similar grammatically My partner speaks Italian and he can speak 3 latin languages Spanish fluently and English

The other thing is hand gestures I caught the train from London Victoria to Brighton It stops at Gatwick Airport There were 2 women opposite me speaking Spanish, ironically, I was listening to a learn Spanish course at the time One was doing all the talking, though she was talking fast I could make out some words, but it was the amount of hand gestures that impressed me, how do you learn those?

These are not bad advices but you won't become fluent by doing this, why do languageyoutubers are so full of shit? You not speaking Spanish fluently in the video is very telling lmao and the only bit in Spanish was a gramatical horrorbrAlso, Spanish is not a language, it's a family of languages, Mexican, Argentinian and Chilean are three different languages with different pronouns, conjugations, vocabularies and verb usages and that is without going into slang nor regional differences (like a Salteño, a Cordobés and a Bonaerense are all Argentinians but they don't speak the same language)

My father is Puerto Rican and my mom is from the States My dad ever spoke Spanish around my siblings and I growing up, but I did listen to it alot whenever i visited my dad's side of the family My grandma (my dad's mom) would only speak in Spanish with her children so I grew up listening to Spanish alot but never became fluent It really is a shame and hurts my soul in a way that I never learned Spanish, but it's in myblood, and it's part of my culture Thank you for these tips I'm going to be a Spanish speaker soon!

Step 1: Create a Time Machine to go back to middle school Lol no seriously you intensely studied Spanish for approximately 10 years and still couldn’t speak it But like you said, you didn’t speak in that language much So I think the biggest takeaway is to learn to speak Spanish you have to ACTUALLY speak Spanish Thanks for mentioning those resources They sound like they’ll be really useful!

Thanks for this I really want to learn Spanish so I can easily get around in Spanish speaking nations during travel And as someone who wants to visit all countries on earth one day, this opens up so many cool places, honestly it's awesome I also really want to read original Spanish sources of historical and scientific documents and there's definitely a lot that I've already collected I hope I'll be able to write my own stories in 3-6 months into my learning too (though in the start this would definitely entail a lot of nonsense stories and translating old English stories of mine)

I had told my sister that I had given up trying to learn Spanish I am Hispanic living in Miami, Florida I have Latino parents, yet I do not know Spanish I was humiliated as a child, adolescent, and young adult I lived in shame Thus, I gave up My sister had that fortitude that I lacked She practiced with hour grandmother She now knows Spanish I have recently tried to put effort into learning I wish that I had not let the shame, embarrassment, guilt, etc stop me from trying to reclaim the language of my heritage I lost a lot of time
