Today is 8/16/24; I remember watching this moment on TV; I was 7 years old at the time; after he hit it, I remember saying that I will never, ever forget this homerun, and I never have forgotten it; I have thought about that homerun many, many times over the years, but not only have I thought about the homerun, but every time I thought about it, I have thought about that statement that I made about never, ever forgetting that homerun I can't tell you how EERIE it is thinking about this 64 years later!!!

I was 9 years old when this happened I was not necessarily a Pirate's fan, but my best friend Bob was SO obnoxious about his love for the Yankees that I cheered against them I was THRILLED when Bill Mazeroski hit this walk-off homer to WIN the Series!!! 😁😍 What made it even more special is that he was the shortstop and not even a big home-run hitter! I shall NEVER forget this moment for my entire life! One of the GREATEST MOMENTS in ALL of SPORTS and maybe #1!!! ⚾⚾🏆🏆
