Personally after rewatching this for 4th time in a long time and buying a midrange phone , I will choose Flagship phones > midrange The build quality and Chipset matters a lot to me I don't even use my phone but if I use it I want to feel like I'm using a good phone Ever since i touched some nice phones , Plastic is horrible I still regret my phone because of plastic , rather using a glass-tic phone case to make up for it I do agree that Flagship > Midrangers specially because of chips and build I don't use my phones for most part , so whenever I touch my phone , it better make me feel validated that this is worth the price I don't care about storage or ram since I only use for simple stuff, calling is secondary because introvert

Just watched this on Oct 1, 2024 - and makes sense - always Buy a 2-year-old flagship at half the price I just bought 2 flagships for less than the price of 1 flagship today ($880)brbrI went ahead and ordered a Galaxy S23 (8GB 256GB 5G) for myself Buying it as a replacement for an aging (battery-swollen and replaced, bought used in 2019) 2017 Galaxy S8 Active - with the intent to run this till 2030 Also bought an iPhone 14 256GB to replace as similarly aged 2016 iPhone SE (bought used in 2017) - for the Apple using spouse - actually waited for the Sep 9 Apple event announcing the iPhone 16brbrThe smaller batteries on the entry level model of flagships are a concern - but part of the deal of buying a smaller screened flagship with less battery real-estate A bigger battery helps, but a larger screen also uses more battery especially in outdoor use And using them in battery saver mode helps to run through the day I think the batteries on flagships are also better quality - iPhones last 5y easily, and so did my Galaxy S8 Active

Late to the party but after trying a flagship, I'm sticking to it It is much better for me in the long run Even a 60 hz refresh rate on a flagship feels fine Sure, it is power hungry due to much higher processing capabilities but it's the one thing I made peace with because I wanted a phone that covers things from the very basic to heavy usage
