Okay, obviously I don't qualify for any of the grants listed on this video I am a struggling college student down on her luck, not enough money for books and is relentlessly scammed by many fake scholarship programs and I keep getting turned away by real grant offers My hardship has gotten much worse since 2022 This video was no help to me whatsoever

Strange seeing this video today For the last week I've received several calls trying to offer me hardship Loans Our nearest Salvation Army operates in the basement of a church They can barely keep their food pantry open and the only other low income assistance similar to the Salvation Army has closed it's doors permanently a couple years ago

FWIW, I contacted several of the pet grant programs trying to get help paying for my dog's insulin, even if it was only enough to cover a few months I'd had her since she was a puppy and she would have been 15 this May But, I became disabled in 2019 and the rising cost of everything, especially insulin, was making it increasingly difficult for me to take care of her needs I just wanted to take care of her until she died of old age, which likely would have been in the next year or so, butonly one of the programs responded to my inquiries and they were openly rude to me and made me feel like I had a lot of nerve asking for help to pay for insulin for my elderly diabetic dog, because they didn't consider that to be an emergency It was life or death for my dog, so it was an emergency to me I had to have my dog put down 1/6/23 because I couldn't pay for her insulin anymore My heart is broken and I feel like I failed her
