@Fraz You have done a wrong tax calculation you can't include first year share price while calculating the tax for an individual You have deducted those first year share price after calculation the taxation which is supposed to be deducted before it Don't misguide people

I have not worked in India, but i do work for one of the FAANG Companies in US In my understanding, for your LPA calculation, should you not consider only one year’s worth of contribution from the total Stocks provided?? It says LPA

I pay 6 L as direct taxes and 6 L as GST and in other forms in return I cannot even book a train ticket(yes cost is so high I cannot afford flight anymore)brTrains are always full, Flight companies charge 10s of thousands for short distance flights but they are still making losses because again government is looting them also in different forms(fuel tax, airport tax, flight ticket tax, flight employees also do pay tax and whatnot)

I live in India as a remote developer earning about 131K USD last 5 years on average I'm a contractor and have GST so I am a SOFTWARE EXPORTER You save more and you can buy amenities with govt tax incentives for plenty of business write offs Like I got 2x 5090 and 2x 9950x3D and high end systems with huge write offs End up paying less tax Lots of benefits if you bring USD to India as government benefits from it as well
