I wanted one and had lost my password and they put a no limit on them and they were gone But I saw the aftermath and feel lucky Now I don't know what Privy means like watching two muscle cars racing 'wow, that's privy' But as in the video I looked at PCGS and other source for images of these coins and I would be smoking They look 3rd rate compared to the original I've seen some selling for over $6,000 They look high relief, it doesn't work, Liberty looks like she's on steroids with all that neck muscle popping out, eagle wings look weird They do not match the coin, if I bought one of these, I would want as close to original as possible

Well, the coin (round/medal) has been out for a few days Now eBay is LOADED with them!! They cost just over one hundred bucks from the mint (mine will be delivered today) but the privy marked ones are being listed for well over 4K, with the numbered ones, 20K plus on eBay Crazy I saw one that was "1 of 230" listed at 28K on Ebay Not there any longer, though (Update: my medal is the typical basic w/o a 230 privy And so it goes!)

I live in Canada and received mine the other day Although it cost me close to $180 CDN, it is a nice medal I have been collecting for 60 years and although the bulk of my collection is ancients, I have collected silver and copper medals costing much more than this purchase Whether it is a flop depends on what side of the fence you’re on Numismatists mostly like it isn’t Those wanting to flip it to make a fast buck probably yes Only time will tell

After examining the PCGS Population report, it doesn't appear that getting a grade is just a numbers game There are many "special" labels that only have MS70 Its possible the dealers said "Do not grade" unless the coin gets a 70 grade But it looks fishy

You should do a video on how you were absolutely wrong in making this call (way too soon) If people were influenced by your video and didn't buy one they definitely are paying more than retail to get one the day after you posted this I guess you can sell them one of yours now Good for your business as a decision though The mint didn't get it wrong, in fact the part they got wrong could have been the low mintage number

I really wanted one but I couldn't do a $104 lottery on a medal If it had been a coin with that edge lettering, I would have If I could have done $104 and guaranteed one of the 1794 with the privy, I'd have done it Instead, I spent half that amount and went out and played a round of golf I think I came off better

I think it turned out as a success As people found the potential value of the ones with the privy mark, they sold like hotcakes I tried to order one and they're all sold out I could enter 'Remind Me' to be on a wait list for unpaid and/or returned medals, but, none of the ones with the privy mark will probably be available I understand why these reissues are called medals Without a denomination, they cannot be considered legal tender like the Morgan and Peace reissues

The new 2024 Flowing Hair Gold Coin is in fact a real coin! It's a one dollar denomination with edge lettering minted at the west point mint It's also a proof high relief coin! Sounds like it will be a beautiful coin! This is of course something that I could never afford ☹️ have a great evening! ✌️
