What if you have a 1980s decade proof set that has one coin that doesn't have the same mint mark as the rest of them? And no there's no difference aside from the mint mark as to the appearance and quality of the coins would this be considered an error set?

The funny thing is there's not really anything special with the 2012 proof set (both the clad and the silver ones); it just had a huge demand spike when the US Mint stopped selling it earlier than they usually do (typically the Mint sells a proof set for 2 years, or until as many as they minted sells out, whichever happens first But the 2012 proof sets they stopped selling 9 months earlier than they usually do) It's still pretty valuable today, despite having a higher mintage than the 2013 and 2014 proof sets

I bought a proof set thats either a 1968 69 or a 1972 set The dime in it has some sort of damage on the rim and on some of the obverse lettering The copper is showing on the letters on only 1 side and on the spot on the rim the copper is showing Kinda looks like the rim goes down into the coin there Wish I could show it to you I have no clue what happen but you can see it with the naked eye The copper on one side of the lettering is best seen w a loupe Anyone seen or heard of this before? Any help is appreciated thanks
