A 1000w heater in the 1970s provided 1000w of heat - exactly the same as a 2024 1000w heater The modern one have more bells and whistles but using a 1000w heater for an hour will always cost the same no matter how "efficient" the heater is! Comment from : @stevedunningduckinggiraffe6296 |

What's the cost?brI would like to buy one Comment from : @carolinemadume2320 |

THE WAR ON FOSSIL FUELS IS JUST PLAIN STUPID !!!, C02 HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH TEMPERATURE C02 makes up just 04 OF 1 OF THE ATMOSPHERE!! THE ATMOSPHERE IS 9906 of OTHER GASES !! SO THAT MINUSCULE 04 CONTROLS THE EARTHS TEMPERATURE!! YOU GOT TO BE BRAIN DEAD TO BELIEVE THIS !!! WAKE UP PEOPLE AND GET EDUCATED ABOUT THE EARTHS ENVIRONMENT OVER THE PAST !!! Comment from : @user-ni9ny6ei6w |

What exactly is "energy efficient" about this product? Energy isn't "wasted" regardless of which type of radiator you use It's simply converted from one energy to another Energy is only lost through poor insulationbrbrAn electric panel heater only makes sense if you don't have a gas or oil boiler, or if you have solar/wind turbine power Otherwise, being "energy efficient" room by room can be established easily by balancing the output of each radiator You don't need aluminium or ceramic rads to achieve thisbrbrThe easiest way to save money on your heating bill is to not heat bedrooms when not in use This can be done manually with standard thermostatic valves (just like switching off lights when not in use), or upgrade to digital thermostatic valves, which are a fraction of the cost of a new electric radiatorbrbrThis infomercial is very misleading Comment from : @ottofumbler7267 |

Good evening I have just found your channel As someone who lives in a stone built 300 yr old house & have just gone solar I am looking towards these products to reduce my gas consumption in the winter months This might, perhaps, maybe be cheaper than dipping into our gas companies But I am still not sure I will do some sums You might have a good product here 🙂 Comment from : @richjones5432 |
what brands do you recommed? is Rointe any good? Comment from : @ampheat |
Would you be so kind as to advise me as to why you believe your comparable 'aluminum' heaters are better than say the German made Eco Strad IQ Ceramic Radiators - like for like? Comment from : @davidmcdougall5259 |
We had those heaters in germeny 38 years ago Australia is going backwordss Comment from : @Ich_slage_dich_in_dominos |
Stay away from electric radiators they spend lot of electricity and does not heat Comment from : @babur9174 |
Is it efficient to run a house on electric heaters without solar, so just using mains power? Comment from : @alexhogan1 |
Can you cover more info on the running cost and difference in economy's of different types of electric radiators Comment from : @fletch7857 |
These types of radiators are absolutely terriblehave them in different homes I've lived in and the heat disappears as soon as you turn them off and if you keep them on constantly you won't be able to afford to eat they are the worst heat sources I have ever encountered Comment from : @whymediaagency9450 |
Wer to buy this heater Comment from : @jjhanabal |
I’m quite interested in these, but I can’t see these being scalable on our current grid These make MUCH more sense to me than heat pumps which are so expensive and unsatisfactory for most people Surely the solution is to put generation strain on the grid not on householders? I mean, why on earth are we not fast track building loads of Nuclear power plants and renewables and encouraging people to use these? Comment from : @deanmoulder9348 |
Would it still be efficient to have an electric radiator behind the sofa Comment from : @nickyclayton4810 |
People need to start walking again especially in the US and cut SUV car use Comment from : @marklittler784 |
It's cross draughts causing air movement that tends to cause you to loose heat to keep heat in a room open and close the door slowly when entering and leaving Comment from : @marklittler784 |
I find 14°C inside is ok if you wear a couple of layers I just wanted it warm enough to be able to use my bare hands on devices, I turned the thermostat right down on my Delongi oil heater and I'm still warm I keep my eye on my room thermometer, once a rooms warm it doesn't usually take much to keep it warm Comment from : @marklittler784 |
Hello I live in New York is there a place Dow hear that sells what you have or home visits ? Comment from : @JohnnyRivera007 |
At the end of the day the person looks at how much the price starts from for your smallest ones? I’ll hazard a guess and say your radiator starts at around £350 to £500 each? It’s only a guess, I’m looking to stop using gas and get it disconnected so I don’t have to pay the (crooks energy supplier) the daily standing charge! At the moment I’m looking at all sorts of electric heating options, even greenhouse tubes heaters lol , because I have a solar system since 2011 and I’m an anorak too 😂, and the other benefit I have is that I live in a new build 2004 and it’s well insulated and holds the heat very well, insulation is extremely important no matter what age a property is, it will save everyone lots of pounds for many many years to come 😉 Comment from : @Alhumdullullah |
Awful heat generated by such devices, very unpleasant Just another WEF initiative to stop the little guy’s access to gas Comment from : @Noneofyourbusiness99999 |
Hello like the review I’m looking into getting a electric heating system for my 3 family house is that company in New York ? Comment from : @JohnnyRivera007 |

How do these compare to panel heaters as that’s what I have and have just found my bill is £289 for nov in a small 2 bed flat! Comment from : @joannehorrex7548 |
Having recently bought a hose with old style economy 7, we changed to these rads, the only down side is the programming, manual is not very clear to follow and controls are on the tiny side, having issues with one that just won't accept the setting even thought it's set as per another 2 in the property But they are stylish and keep the rooms warm However you've tag is misleading, it more Click bate Comment from : @mysteryincracing |
When will the EPC take account of energy efficient electric radiators they all do terrible on the EPC! Comment from : @apuk79 |
I live in America do I have access to this Comment from : @jimmorrison3830 |
Don't con people who are desperate to save on energy costs Comment from : @andrewmillwardwatford9410 |
First of all electricity prices are also going up and second how would a family keep warm in a (much predicted) blackout? Comment from : @claudiapreda8493 |
This a scam It's not possible to make an electric heater that's not 100 efficientbrThey have been around for a hundred yearsbrIf your going down this route, You need one portable radiant heater and carry it from room to roombrFixing an electric heater to the wall negates it's main advantage; portabilitybrThe exception is the bathroom when the heater needs to be fixed to the wall/ceiling, high out of reach with the switch either a pull switch or outside the room Special radiant heaters are made for this purpose Comment from : @harry130747 |
Heat pumps at a potential 400 efficiency, electric radiators at 100 or a gas boiler at 92 but with gas at the third of the price? Yes gas boilers need to be maintained but it is still my first choice Comment from : @MrRawMonkey |
Wouldn't they need to be 4x more efficient than GCH given the per Kw/h costs just to break even? Comment from : @jonjohnson2844 |
Is there a way to sync these up so they come on as and when you want them to?brbrJudging by the comments and also by seeing that most homes are still being fitted with gas combi boilers, there's something that tells me these still aren't quite there yet in terms of efficiency/cost effectiveness Would love to be able to compare and contrast with my Nest system during the winter months Comment from : @pspr33 |
Old school heating just when electric going up 1st October you can just buy a electric oil radiater you can move around and use in the room you need Comment from : @truthfinder350 |
What a load of crapno such thing as energy efficient electric radiatorsa 10 pound 1000w radiator uses the same as a 300 pound 1000w radiator Comment from : @macmannin |
If i had 3 of your 2000 watt rads it would cost £180 per hour, And if ran them in winter for 8 hours that would cost £1440 a day over 30 day at 8 hours a day would cost £432 a month is that saving you money ? Comment from : @markeaston5925 |
