If you’re a stacker here in the United States, the gold eagle is much better The reason is, you can sell back any amount of gold eagles without having a IRS form filled out on you, same as silver If it’s a gold Maple leaf, you can go up to 24 coins without being reported

I cycle through three types American Eagle, Britannia, and Maple Leaf I like the Eagle for the resell value, the Maple Leaf for long term investment, and the Britannia for a little variety Both Maple Leaf and Britannia 24k and enhance security features are a plus for me When the prices are high like they are today The Maple Leaf is my coin of choice On a side note, I wish the US mint would add a more enhance security feature to the American Eagle It would make the additional perms feel a little better

The buffalo has two beautiful sides while the maple has one good side Most coins are displayed showing the obverse while maples are always displayed on the reverse because most of us don't want to see the queen or king Charles Buffalo for the win!!

Personally I love Gibraltar Lady Justice 2024 coin the most Problem is that it changes the design every year but the 2024 one is really beautiful And unlike other nations in the Commonwealth or other overseas territories of the UK (Canada, st Helena, etc), instead of using the king/queen's face on the observe it uses the royal coat of arms A great charming point for me

Extra paperwork selling over 25-a hassle-best soveriegn is Brittannia or Kangaroo I have a couple old Maples, a couple old Krug, one Onza If you are really stacking why would you buy coins that require extra paperwork-especially like you Hand down coins that don't require extra government intrusion- no brainer plus don't mind the royalty aspect but you are supporting the Commie Trudeau also Nice coin, but Britts and Roos are just as nice--for less usually and no unnecessary paperwork I don't want to burden my kids with extra reporting requirements-the tax filing is bad enough My 2 cents

I am a silver guy and the Royal Canadian Mint is second to none when it comes to their 10 oz bars I am currently buying American Silver Eagles though to fill up a monster box since premiums for me are low thanks to Costco But I am going to save monthly to get that Maple gold ouncebrbrI am a huge RCM fan for sure! I just picked up a 1/4 CML today Maples are among my top preferred designs in both au and ag But I also like coins from the Perth Mint - as well as the Royal Mint (Just not fond of milky silver from the RM) I have found some low premiums on Royal Mint coins, which has resulted in several of them making their way in to the stack

I’m somewhat new at all this, but I just received my random year 1oz Maple and it turns out it’s a 2019 Gold Maple Leaf with an incuse design According to APMEX, (I didn’t purchase it from them) only 10,000 were minted I can’t find what they are selling for because they are sold out on every website Can’t be worth too much more than a normal maple I’m guessing 😜
