The Maple Leaf and the gold Buffalo are just uniquely designed and anyone who knows nothing about gold could easily fall in love with them I know I have even when I didn’t afford them Comment from : @PenArrowNation |

The maple leaf is a nice coin, but it doesn't beat the buffalo, in my opinion Also wish it was the same diameter as the AGE and buffalo Comment from : @MikeMarcangelo |
Fantastic content! Great job on your videos Looking forward to getting my next maple when I can Comment from : @MapleLeafStacker |
I live in the US If I was to buy some gold, the maple leaf would be my first choice Comment from : @dancoe4489 |

An ounce of gold is an ounce of goldThe premium difference for new bullion is almost nothing Comment from : @lv4077 |
Premiums of different itemsbrWhat is a good premium? All these different shops, online and they all have different premiums I've seen local shops which are supposed to have low premiums but they have some ridiculous premiums of 20-25 on 1oz and higher itemsbrCan you make a 1 stop video on just premiums from smallest item to largest item brLay them out left to right and state what is lowest premium you've seen and highest Comment from : @LTL_king |
Britannias > maples Comment from : @jayflaggs |
If you’re a stacker here in the United States, the gold eagle is much better The reason is, you can sell back any amount of gold eagles without having a IRS form filled out on you, same as silver If it’s a gold Maple leaf, you can go up to 24 coins without being reported Comment from : @Genebaket |
I cycle through three types American Eagle, Britannia, and Maple Leaf I like the Eagle for the resell value, the Maple Leaf for long term investment, and the Britannia for a little variety Both Maple Leaf and Britannia 24k and enhance security features are a plus for me When the prices are high like they are today The Maple Leaf is my coin of choice On a side note, I wish the US mint would add a more enhance security feature to the American Eagle It would make the additional perms feel a little better Comment from : @B4SHTF |
Love gold Maple (first choice but I’m Canadian)brbrBut just received 1oz gold cowboy from Scottsdale and just WOW 🤩 Comment from : @DavidLevesque-m7g |
The buffalo has two beautiful sides while the maple has one good side Most coins are displayed showing the obverse while maples are always displayed on the reverse because most of us don't want to see the queen or king Charles Buffalo for the win!! Comment from : @artboston4787 |
I like the maples second behind buffalos Comment from : @joelsway6470 |
Great videos brother! Do you think it makes sense to keep buying gold at all time highs? Comment from : @ToddPatty-yg7hd |
What type of camera do you use for your videos? Comment from : @GoldDigger7819 |
Personally I love Gibraltar Lady Justice 2024 coin the most Problem is that it changes the design every year but the 2024 one is really beautiful And unlike other nations in the Commonwealth or other overseas territories of the UK (Canada, st Helena, etc), instead of using the king/queen's face on the observe it uses the royal coat of arms A great charming point for me Comment from : @yuki_acg |
Love gold MaplesbrIf same price, I pick the BuffalobrOk I want both! Comment from : @silversleuth007 |
I only have maples They need to stop with that 10 capacity tube n go to 20 Comment from : @JasonDeville-fi4dh |
So far I only have 1 Canadian maple leaf gold coin and saving little money to buy another same coin Comment from : @Simple-vintage-s9d |
I love the front of the Maple but hate the back with Charles on it I prefer Elizabeth Comment from : @tikitinatv1420 |

Maples are great Comment from : @oldschoolnateguy |
Its a solid purchase Only wish that American gains taxes were exempt from it And of course its soft, but that is every pure gold coin Comment from : @syovar1 |
I would buy more eagles, but here in Canada, we are taxed when we buy them They are not 999 pure, and for that, we pay tax brI can, however, get them without paying tax if I buy from my friends coin store Only problem is, is I now live 2 provinces over He does ship to me but I have to pay for that Also, he rarely gets any eagles but he does call me when he does Comment from : @mickeylickey123 |
It's the only 1oz and 1/4oz gold coins I own Comment from : @hf-nctrnl1890 |
Right now for me:br1 Pre33 Saint Gaudensbr2 AGEbr3 AGBbrbrI can sell as many AGE or Bullalos with no paperwork Not so with Foreign gold, etc Comment from : @bo_dink |
Extra paperwork selling over 25-a hassle-best soveriegn is Brittannia or Kangaroo I have a couple old Maples, a couple old Krug, one Onza If you are really stacking why would you buy coins that require extra paperwork-especially like you Hand down coins that don't require extra government intrusion- no brainer plus don't mind the royalty aspect but you are supporting the Commie Trudeau also Nice coin, but Britts and Roos are just as nice--for less usually and no unnecessary paperwork I don't want to burden my kids with extra reporting requirements-the tax filing is bad enough My 2 cents Comment from : @Greg-p2i |
The maple leaf is both 24K and better looking than the American Eagle and Krugerrand, not to mention cheaper The Buffalo is the ugly duckling of the bunch Comment from : @quocbao4243 |
I am a silver guy and the Royal Canadian Mint is second to none when it comes to their 10 oz bars I am currently buying American Silver Eagles though to fill up a monster box since premiums for me are low thanks to Costco But I am going to save monthly to get that Maple gold ouncebrbrI am a huge RCM fan for sure! I want them as part of my stacking journey They make beautiful product! Comment from : @tryingtolivethedream5277 |
Lets see a 2025 Perth mint year of the Snake gold coinbr🎱🎱🎱 Comment from : @masemase1931 |
I have two buffaloes and an AGE My next purchase will be a Canadian Maple I prefer 24 karat it so much prettier Comment from : @tracyallen6722 |
I have silver maple leafs and they are by far my favorite The lines in the background make a shine that others just don't have Comment from : @travdripdrip382 |
Maples and Brittania's 👍 But, I live in Europe 🙂 Comment from : @margrietlaan8020 |

#1 Comment from : @mrbtheband |
1 oz proof eagle I’ll get thembrClose to the price of a regular gold eagle and they’re stunning Proof buffalo is ehhh Comment from : @Kevin-ii7gy |
Speaking to my LCS here in Malaysia, Canadian Maple Leaf gold coin is the most popular gold coin in the local market The only drawback about the Maple is the 30mm diameter Comment from : @mottojojo1000 |
How timely! I bought another one today for my stack 😊brI ponied up once for a Buffalo which I love but can’t touch the Eagle as not only is the premium too high but as a Canadian I must pay 155 sales tax because it’s not 100 pure Next time I’m in the USA I’ll pick one up Great video! 👍 Comment from : @Xylo58 |
Buffalo Canadian Klondike and American Liberty Comment from : @fireboltaz |
Is there any chance that we see gold price go below $ 2400 again? If yes, when can we expect? Comment from : @naveenavenkat9785 |
I personally think they should have minted a new coin for King Charles and kept Queen Elisabeth on the Maple Leaf But definitely a top choice either way Comment from : @watzup62 |
New to stacking, started with small fractional eagles and Maples only buying pre 33 gold at the moment Its gold and its history Price seems right to me Comment from : @skypieper |
Kool !!! My very 1st gold was a Maple Leaf too …🌎🗿™️🇺🇸 Comment from : @jamesonealbrown7227 |
Britannias > Maples Comment from : @Bill-qz8jv |
Krugs just because I live in Africa Comment from : @nelsonrodrigues3313 |
I just picked up a 1/4 CML today Maples are among my top preferred designs in both au and ag But I also like coins from the Perth Mint - as well as the Royal Mint (Just not fond of milky silver from the RM) I have found some low premiums on Royal Mint coins, which has resulted in several of them making their way in to the stack Comment from : @markh1324 |
She’s a beauty ❤ Comment from : @jamieopulence |
Maple Leaf is my favorite They have good resale value Comment from : @go4it129 |
Maple leaf or Kangaroos are my preference… However, if someone is giving some gold coins away, I probably would expand my horizons 😂 Comment from : @mv55555 |
✨🦬✨🦅✨🍁✨It’s all a delight to stack 🤣 Thank you for sharing 2is1 ! Comment from : @michaelmccoy2847 |
My #1 pick Comment from : @FBmachinegun |

The gold maple makes so much sense but I can’t bring my self to do Canada stuff 😬😕🫥 Comment from : @thousandaireradio3199 |
I'm from the States but my first gold and silver coins were Maples Comment from : @beaversstumpgrinding3352 |
I live in the city in Canada with the mint, such a cool place, its about the only thing Canada does right now a days Comment from : @Defyant204 |
Top 3 (in my opinion, for purchase)brbr1) gold buffalobr2) gold eaglebr3) gold Maple leafbrbrMaple leaf and Britannia are the best looking, Comment from : @tonybonesLD |
How do you keep track of your collection? Do you have a sort of spread sheet or something? Comment from : @jonathan_nunnally |
For me, its the Buffalo Comment from : @chucksneed3339 |
Some of your most biased videos bro 😅 Comment from : @usptact |
The reverse is the beautiful side The obverse has been cartoonish and ugly, in my eyes, ever since the latest portrait of the queen was introduced Comment from : @silvertrek357 |
Good thumbnail I want you to know Comment from : @MedivalNinja500 |
USA guy here, love the Maples, the AGEs, and the Britannias All are very nice and in my stack No buffs Comment from : @edb3877 |
The Maple was also my first gold coin many years ago! It remains in my top tier right behind the AGE and Buffalo! Comment from : @72cmcinc |
Excellent sponsor to have!!!!! RCM Comment from : @starstacker1 |
Eagles, Maples and Krugs are all I buy Best for liquidity That said, I agree that having ANY gold is better than none when SHTF! Comment from : @denniscote686 |
The gold buff looks better than really any gold coin to me, as far as modern bulletin is concerned, i just dont like the way a krugerand looks, too pink, that being said one day ill buybjust one to say i have it Comment from : @jessewatkins6151 |
Buffalo is my first choice always Comment from : @vrbanitas2021 |
Nice video, like the purity discussion Comment from : @Augustine1119 |
BuffaloEagleMaplein that order Comment from : @erichammond2466 |
My plan is to start collecting Maples 1/4 oc next, But 1/4 Eagle have a very low added of just 4 here in the UK, so I may start collecting them next Comment from : @hardergamer |
Perth mint coins are even nicer and cheaper than rcm Wierd inverse relationship between quality and price and saleabiity Maples are a sweet spot and rcm bars are a no brainer in 10 oz, barely any more than generic Congrats on being sponsored by a sovereign mint dont forget all us little folk Comment from : @aaronschen9896 |
Different strokes for different folks I think it’s great for women and the LGBT community have a coin in the Canadian maple leaf We can all appreciate the RCM in a spirit of diversity, equity and inclusion Comment from : @sinesaii |
I like the portrait of the queen from the 999 era of Maples Leafs But I would certainly take a 9999 era Queen over any King Charles I just dont want his face on a coin Comment from : @michaelg589 |
American Buffalo security features are their uneven and amateur hour edges Comment from : @juliusarnold2844 |
#1 choice, pre-33br#2 choice, and best looking gold Buffalo br#3 choice (tie), Gold Maple Leaf/Britannia for both looks and security features Comment from : @krsmedley |
The Royal Canadian Mint makes some great looking coins, they actually figured how to avoid milk spotting, added security features and introduced new and unique designs (like the super incuse series) Comment from : @holdsilverandgold |
Supposedly AGE/buffs are exempt from IRS1099/8300 paperworkbrOther websites suggest CMLs are exempt too? Comment from : @steveb855 |
Can't wait to add a 50th anniversary gml in 2029 I agree, it's a beautiful coin, followed by the Britannia and the Buffalo Comment from : @darrellhoekstra8514 |
Just picked up one a few daus ago First gold since March I figured 2500 is the new normal Comment from : @danstinson7687 |
Thank you for the video Comment from : @ferebeefamily |
I’m somewhat new at all this, but I just received my random year 1oz Maple and it turns out it’s a 2019 Gold Maple Leaf with an incuse design According to APMEX, (I didn’t purchase it from them) only 10,000 were minted I can’t find what they are selling for because they are sold out on every website Can’t be worth too much more than a normal maple I’m guessing 😜 Comment from : @Leon612 |
This isn't the first time you made a video about Maple Leaf gold coin Every time you publish a video about this wonderful coin, I delight watching it as the Maple Leaf is definitely my favorite gold coin Thank you for your video! Comment from : @carlosenriquemsalasb |
I am having difficulty finding 1/10 oz gold maple leaf coins at LCS and I tried to do so at a recent local coin show No one has them I know they are available online, etc; however, I prefer cash no trace transactions Is the 1/10 so popular? I know premium is high, cannot afford price of one (1) ounce As a result, a purchase of one or two 1/10 oz, eventually adds up to 1 oz Keep stacking Comment from : @kenarrington7098 |
If I had one more AGE my next full oz would be a ML Comment from : @getx1265 |
You have to pay taxes to buy or sell them, automatically making them worse than any gold eagle or gold buffalo (if you live in the US) you are welcome Comment from : @Sterlingcape |
