Beautiful coin Are they easy to scratch?
Comment from : @curtisrandolph6580

@jayseflames176
Only coin I’ll stack is the Maple I’d hate to own a coin that was made in america
Comment from : @jayseflames176

@Danleesixoneonetwofive
Greatest The detail is impeccable On camera it might be people to not understand but after you have held a Maple in your hand and compared it to coins from other mints, you will know what I mean The Royal Canadian Mint is the best of the best Its design looks simple but behind that simplicity is more nuance and depth than you can imagine
Comment from : @Danleesixoneonetwofive

@GK-yk4eh
I like the Gold Maple Leaf # 1
Comment from : @GK-yk4eh

@wilsong4096
I hv an unusual con for the maple 🍁, I really like them and own them but I don’t like the smaller diameter My 1 ouncers seem like 1/2 ouncers lol The quarters look like 10ths and the 1/2s seem like quarters I prefer eagles and even gold libertads to the maples
Comment from : @wilsong4096

@bthb1620
Excellent video The Gold Maple Leaf is a beautifully designed and minted coin, no doubt Although Canadian coinage laws require the sovereign's effigy to be on its coins, I wish that the RCM could use a symbol or image more representative of Canada than the British monarch Canada's Coat of Arms (as depicted on the circulating 50 cent coin) would be a great alternative and would keep monarchists happy
Comment from : @bthb1620

@ti994apc
The Gold Maple would be my absolute LAST Choice The reason is the maple has no added medals for hardness All maples end up scratched and look terrible For this reason, the Krugerrand is the best and looks better with its reddish tint Still the exact same amount of pure gold But added medals for hardness keep it looking great
Comment from : @ti994apc

@dancoe4489
My favorite gold coin has to be the Maple leaf Maybe, I'll be well off enough to someday own some 1 oz gold maples
Comment from : @dancoe4489

@bboymusic07
Awesome Awesome video bro! Absolutely love your content! You’re giving all the info any beginner would want to know for the most part Thank you and please continue! 😎💪🏾
Comment from : @bboymusic07

@NKMK7
I am from the US, but I mostly buy Maple Leafs I also buy Australian Kangaroos to gift to my mom and sister due to their purity and affordable price However, I am more attracted to the Buffalo coin, though the premium price has limited me to just one coin
Comment from : @NKMK7

@peg274
What’s your take on the Canadian mint gold bar?
Comment from : @peg274

@bhoward9378
It's a shame what has been done to Canada by its government
Comment from : @bhoward9378

Comment from : @Bugsrus24

@pierredubord
For me Maple is 1st, Britannia 2nd
Comment from : @pierredubord

@Z-J-
The detail in the leaf sells it for me 👍🏼 best looking coin today
Comment from : @Z-J-

@alohatraveler
Only reason to buy maple leafs are for the spot price and easy transitions The quality control of the RCM is awful however Just speak to anyone who buys their coins and bars or read reviews from any site Or a simple Google search
Comment from : @alohatraveler

@dabeage
They are a beautiful coin
Comment from : @dabeage

@kylemcmeekin2988
Personally i think the Maples and the Brittanias are the nicest
Comment from : @kylemcmeekin2988

@magaridabelesi4089
Nice review man👌 Thanks!
Comment from : @magaridabelesi4089

@IndianOutlaw1870
They're pretty, but they show every little scratch, unlike Buffalos
Comment from : @IndianOutlaw1870

@smoke1208
What do you sell a maple leaf to a coin dealer spot price or 5 percent lower
Comment from : @smoke1208

@rkirby7183
In terms of taxation in the USA, it makes zero difference what purity a coin is You are taxed on the gain or loss, periodbrAlso, one big negative for pure gold coins is that you can't handle them like regular coins, because they're too soft It's important that you find out what a real coin feels like in your hand Important for your kids too
Comment from : @rkirby7183

@FinalAffliction
do you like the 10 tube or the 20 better I wish they made it 20 tube
Comment from : @FinalAffliction

@MK-wz7vc
Buffalos cost more and contain less gold it’s a no brainer maples all the way And that mini leaf is called DNA
Comment from : @MK-wz7vc

@briankier2189
For me I love the 1oz Silver Maple Leafs…
Comment from : @briankier2189

Don’t promote Maple Leaf It will be more difficult and more expensive to buy for mebrIt is a secret, that this is best, as it is official currency at the same timebrDon’t spoil this secret market, until i have more…
Comment from : @imanuelnazare3705

@InappropriateShorts
Britannia hands down
Comment from : @InappropriateShorts

@bigbromcgee7118
Canadian gold coin is good but nothing beats the American Eagle Good Coin!
Comment from : @bigbromcgee7118

@risingphoenixstacker
Was this posted to help SD Bullion sell maples? Their maple inventory is rather larger After this video, they made a sale on Maples at $59 over the spot Now, they are buying Maples below the spot I noticed a similar situation with a silver YouTuber sponsored by SD Bullion The buy prices dropped significantly after you and the silver youtuber visited SD's vault
Comment from : @risingphoenixstacker

@Deejay-e2f
I purchased a maple leaf yesterday, it as as well as the brittania, are my 24k go to coins
Comment from : @Deejay-e2f

@feoxorus
This is just silly Maple Leaf, Kruggerand, Eagle, Philharmonic or Britannia makes absolutely NO DIFFERENCE The only thing that matters is getting your gold coins at the lowest premium Buyers don't care about the design, how shiny it is or what country made it they care about weight Money talks, bullcaca walks - always
Comment from : @feoxorus

@sed6
What number would you rank a Panda?
Comment from : @sed6

@alaminbrand2274
Well both maple and buffalo are same 24k worth of almost same but Maples unique design ans sophisticated maple leaf image with modern security feautres its far ahead than buffalo
Comment from : @alaminbrand2274

@christophermccormick8670
Only dislike for me is the Mrs Doubtfire effigy 🤷🏽‍♂️ 🥃
Comment from : @christophermccormick8670

@JamesLeBrocq
The Maple Leaf For sure
Comment from : @JamesLeBrocq

@varghessmith2985
Is Australian colins 24 caret?
Comment from : @varghessmith2985

@tdukes7091
I vote libertad for best looking coin Really high premiums though
Comment from : @tdukes7091

@Rafael-bj9pq
You forgot mentioning 20 francs coins They are very popular and low premium
Comment from : @Rafael-bj9pq

@mimaroo1431
Most of my one ounce gold is Australian gold, strangely enough I don't know how that happened, lol!! I do love the Australian coins, even though I'm Canadian
Comment from : @mimaroo1431

@ed345
One small scratch and you lost $50 brbrKrugerrands are the best Cheaper to buy and if you resale you get the same price as someone selling any other gold coin
Comment from : @ed345

@dandelioncorsage
King Charles is like having Trump or Biden in my collectionand honestly, how creative is the reverse? Except for the security feature, I would rate the Maple at the bottom of all coins you mentioned
Comment from : @dandelioncorsage

@StevesTreasure
Everything in Canada is made with at least 1 drop of 100 pure Canadian Maple Syrup! I'm biased, but I love the Gold Maple!
Comment from : @StevesTreasure

@Dirty2Clean1980
Liberstad is the best looking but there low strikes
Comment from : @Dirty2Clean1980

@ericviessmann7507
Great perspectives!
Comment from : @ericviessmann7507

@abdisalamroble3119
I will buy one from Costco INSHAALLAH
Comment from : @abdisalamroble3119

@Sneezy_04
I love the maple leaf; it’s just so beautiful
Comment from : @Sneezy_04

@michaelwatt7846
Really nice video, as usual with 2 is 1 I got a little chuckle at the end too, with the "take care eh?"
Comment from : @michaelwatt7846

@goldmaple5290
I have been saying this for years The 1 oz Gold Maple Leaf is the best gold coin I even changed my youtube name to Gold Maple just for that coin I'm from Canada by the way
Comment from : @goldmaple5290

@stevelauda5435
It's also my favorite I think I may trade my 1oz bars for more maples
Comment from : @stevelauda5435

@Mauitaoist
Britannia's for me more beautiful cheaper and better security features
Comment from : @Mauitaoist

@wothem
I want to begin buying coins for savings I want to start with silver coins(maple leaf or britannia), because gold is still a bit too expensive for me Is it better to buy coins online or to go to local jewellers and coin shops?
Comment from : @wothem

@matthew2547
krugerrand has tighter buy/sell spread than maple, and ring testing 22k beats any security feature
Comment from : @matthew2547

@tonybonesLD
Gold buffalo
Comment from : @tonybonesLD

@thomasdc2439
I'm from Europe and I go with Britannia Coins They have low premium, high security and they look great in my opinion But I have to admin, I love the design of the American buffalos They have a raw and pure character for me They are not as refined and modern looking as Britannia I love that brWith silver coins is a bit different for me Because they are cheaper, I try to get a high variety of different coins Just to enjoy the different designs
Comment from : @thomasdc2439

@jacko717
Krugerrands, makes me feel like I'm a player in a 70s crime thriller
Comment from : @jacko717

@dds3606
Buffalo
Comment from : @dds3606

@craigb3154
Have a few Brits and Eagles, but the remaining 90 are all Maples
Comment from : @craigb3154

@grants169
First few maples I got were secondary and scratched I didn't like that so I ordered a new one from APMEX and it came with a deep singular scratch I just don't have a good relationship with the maples apparently
Comment from : @grants169

@timothythompson4036
The Canadian Mint is probably the best gold mint in the world Maples are very easy to sell Great coin! That was a great quote from Gretsky!!
Comment from : @timothythompson4036

@piticfilms

Comment from : @romanmichalek4758

@simeonmilanov4605
I love the Maple leaf and I stack silver Leafs But as for gold, being a stacker with limited resources and since I live in Eastern Europe, I stick to Austrian Ducats, Austro-Hungarian florins and 20 golden Francs/Napoleon III As for the best looking coin, I would actually go with Britannia, but that's just my personal aesthetic preference
Comment from : @simeonmilanov4605

@yanbaihuzxzxzx
Maples, in my area Indian clients love it because of the purity Buy them all but if you curious how you ever going to offload it you have to know your demographic
Comment from : @yanbaihuzxzxzx

@Gregoryreinhart76
Did anyone see SD Bullion's current deal on Gold Maples? $44 over spot!!
Comment from : @Gregoryreinhart76

@White_Wabbit
In the UK it has to be the Britainnia - all the others you have to pay capital gains tax if/when you sell I'd love to buy an eagle, but I'd take a hit just to own one
Comment from : @White_Wabbit

@rd9102
When i finally move to Gold, Gold Eagles and Maple Leafs and that is probably all besides couple of numismatic pieces i want for my collection
Comment from : @rd9102

@Stanislaw93
Universal Gold Coin to me is the British Gold Sovereign
Comment from : @Stanislaw93

@jaybarr3307
Being in the US my preference is Maples, due to pricing, and AGE's Those two are go-to's, always I'm also a fan of quarter and half-ounce commemoratives (thinking confiscation there) That having been said, I have various others, Pandas, Swans, Krugs, etc, because I lucked into a price right at spot I think Britannia's are probably the most appealing of all of them, just haven't lucked into one yet American gold buffalos are flat-out ugly and, since they cost more, they're never on my shopping list
Comment from : @jaybarr3307

@SwearJarInvestor
This video convinced me to get a gold maple for my first gold coin Thanks for sharing
Comment from : @SwearJarInvestor

@dryciderz
Gold or silver maples seem like they're always a good choice as long as the premium looks decent
Comment from : @dryciderz

@risingphoenixstacker
The gold Maple became my favorite sovereign gold coin the moment I picked it up Plus, it has a lower premium I'll pick up Buffalos and AGEs when there are "deals," and they trade at a more reasonable premium
Comment from : @risingphoenixstacker

@petrpalecka5932
I like phillies on which they don't put an effigy of a foreign potentate on the back of the coin Canada still feels like a small child looking affectionately to their mom, the UK Austria is a grown-up in this case
Comment from : @petrpalecka5932

@Kevin-fn1rn
AGE # 1 ;)
Comment from : @Kevin-fn1rn

@stephenbeyer4315
My favourite 2 gold coins would be the Maple followed closely by the Brit As an aussie, I don't like how the Kangaroo changes every year, some people might like that, but I'd rather have my generic stacking coins all the same For that reason, I prefer the PM minted bars brIn Aus, there is also an extra tax on the 22 carot coins, so for that reason (and I think it's prettier), I prefer the buffolo over the eagle
Comment from : @stephenbeyer4315

@BWilliam
Rcm is very high quality stuff
Comment from : @BWilliam

@dragonstalk86
silver maples are my kids favorite, i prefer 22k for durability and dont care for the royalty side
Comment from : @dragonstalk86

@mk1fourwinds62
I live on the US side of the Canadian border I travel back and forth frequently I love the Maple Leafs and the Britannias Beautiful coins Recognizable and salable here and afar
Comment from : @mk1fourwinds62

@66block84
My favorite gold coins are the ones in my safe ;-) They just happen to be Maple leafs
Comment from : @66block84

@Fineonee
I think the buffalo is king, just need fractionals IMO having the crown on precious metals delegitimizes it to a degree
Comment from : @Fineonee

@thehoff4581
I would buy more maple leafs if the last 0001 was maple syrup <--- Marketing department LOL, Good video eh
Comment from : @thehoff4581

@ThompsonCoinAndStamp
I really love the maple leafs Both the gold and silver
Comment from : @ThompsonCoinAndStamp

@chattingkat1
Can you tell me is buying bars of gold and silver wrong, which is better coins or bars? Thanks!
Comment from : @chattingkat1

@cairpreliffechair832
Maples for fractional, Buffaloes for full ounces The Chinese (and Asian countries in general) like Canada I like the fact you omitted Libertad (high price), Panda (high price, odd sizes)
Comment from : @cairpreliffechair832

@kimpoulsen6623
Leafs and brits are clearly the two best standard coins, and both are pretty Myself being from Europe I consider buying a phil
Comment from : @kimpoulsen6623

@RoaringJaguar
I would solely stack maples for sure if it weren’t for the fact that I can’t stand the queen on the back… It’s a pity to ruin such a beautiful coin with a face of a human leader of any kind That’s why I prefer the AGEs I can do with the statue of liberty
Comment from : @RoaringJaguar

@chiil034
I have some Krugerrands in my stack and I take those with me when I travel When I last traveled to South America, I would stop in gold jewelry shops I was consistently offered about $300 under spot for my 1 oz Krugerrands I didn't sell, but it was still good to know that I could liquidate in an emergency if I lost my ATM card while traveling, or lost my wallet & ID I usually take two coins with me as an "Emergency" reserve, on top of some cash and debit/credit cards
Comment from : @chiil034

@bobbyp6738
omg loved the AA
