Very nice In the year 1740 a french soldier Eustachius De Lannoy traveled to Venad (an ancient Indian Kingdom) with Dutch East India company (VOC) troops During the war he surrendered to the Venad King But the king noticed his bravery and talents & appointed him as a Captain in his army Around 37 years Eustachius De Lannoy worked as a great captain in India History reveals that in the Eustachius De Lannoy’s period, Venad King constructed a big European Army with De Lannoy and captured nearby kingdoms Around 1749 with De Lannoy‘s support that Indian king created a big new country named Travancore (now it is known as Kerala - a part of India) De Lannoy was born in Araas, France but a main commander for an Indian Kingdom So a Netherland Soldier become a Commander was the majar reason to create an Indian Kingdom around 1749! More information about his life story is available in the book "The Indian king's french commander"
