We have five children 30 to 17 and we always did sign language at least three signs food, eat ,morebrbrToday we watched our grandson he’s 9 1/2 months old and I did those same signs to him

How early can I start teaching my baby these signs? I think it’s so helpful for infants and adults to be able to communicate effectively My baby is only 3 months old right now but I want him to be able to learn these signs

I don’t believe in baby sign language i believe that its easy for me as a mother to understand my baby I would prefer to talk to them and they would understand the sound just as much they will understand the sign !!

I noticed my son moving his hand when I’m saying all done, so I looked it up and he’s using the sign! I don’t know if he picked it up from mrs rachel or daycare but I’m so excited to teach him more!!! Haha

I'm going to try "all done" because my 15M old gets frustrated at the table and pushed food around throws it on the floor I'm hoping him learning to communicate he is done in a healthy way might help I accidentally taught him "gone" using body signs (not any official sign language) so I thought why not try all done Thank you!

Ive been putting some basic signs into my youngest daughters daily routine because since she cant talk and i dont understand what it is she exactly wants she is actually getting the hang of it and ive been only doing it for a couple weeks and she FINALLY signed more food to me 🤗🤗🤗🤗 my husband thought it was weird that I wanted to do this but now that she finally did it hes on board and understands why I want to do this Its hard to understand what a 1yr old wants since they cant talk

My nieces and nephew use a pinching motion with a finger and thumb that means "I would like some of "what you're having or some of that" or "can I touch that"
