The money market funds however are not FDIC insured but SIPC insured, for eg Fidelity's SPAXX

Once you opened an MMA and put a certain amount, can you deposit money as often as you would like? I know you said limit is 250 grand and once you pass that number--it's not FDIC insured

Hi! Im pretty new to this and considering this as fairly recent graduate I notice you didn't mention online MMAs They seem to require less minimum balance requirements With a general search I saw as little as no monthly requirement or just $100 (Marcus and CIT) and FDIC protected Online MMAs also seem to offer fairly competitive rates With seemingly less restrictions, would you say more people would turn toward online MMAs? I did notice that there might be a restriction to writing checks or using atms They may require strictly online transfer I think I would prefer something that isn't requiring something like a $1000 monthly requirement

Nice video!brBeen trying to find banks that offer MMAs here in Norway, but no luck so far Some offer MMFs, but never MMA Wonder what´s up with thatbrEnded up placing my "emergency fund" in a fixed rate savings account with 2 interest, which will grow by 0,2 a year up to 2,6 if I keep the interest fixed Not really great, but hopefully it can at least keep up with inflation brWith my emergency fund in place, future earnings will go towards paying off debts and investing in funds

Or, the Government andor Banks andor any one andor group is being sabotaged to limit the paper and other United States money in the United States, possibly to have "other Nation's (andor Private non-nation's (though theoretically, any "Private Group andor one" could, at least, theoretically be a "nation") Money" be "the most dominant" based on Sabotaged Academic Theories possibly furthering "World Political Strategy" andor "World Domination" And truthfully, merely because the paper money (if paper was not in supply) wasn't possible to be made/physically exist (other parts, possibly not paper), the Government andor others could still issue "lawful money", but one money is what is truly best (least volatile) for The United States and All other Nations (For each Nation to have their own, or, possibly one day, the whole world to have a money that is the same "exchange rate" for all Nations, 1:1) The "Money Dominance" "Conflict" is truly, an Inferior Conflict
