Dad blame drill bit walks around , but if I do drill one you can sand the inside with a drill cone sandpaper at harbor freight and bring the hole back straight

Awesome video! If you wanted to go bigger with the ring size, say a size 14 or 15, would you just use a bigger coin or could you continue to go up in size with a quarter? Do you need different dies or could you use those same ones in the kit?

If you can't center, start with a smaller drill bit like 2 mm and size up Or use a subland twist drill Was that a Quarter Dollar? I am from Germany so I am not so familiar with the US coins

ACTUALLY! instead of spending 100-150 bucks with Jason You COULD just drill it smaller or larger hole before you hammered it on to your jeweler mandrel brbrObviously start smaller and graduate it slowly until desired size is achieved, annealing before each graduated size

a much easier way to size your ring would be to drill a smaller or larger hole in the coin initially! that way you don’t need to spend over 100 on tools 😬

I got sold a bunch of fake Morgan Stanley dollars and I'm pissed I was really upset I bought them at a time when I had a bunch of money and I threw them in a box and didn't pay any attention to him but when I needed the money about a year later, I found out they were fakes and the idea came to me that I could make rings out of them So I'm just now starting this is an excellent video thank you for sharing this knowledge with everybody Do you have any experience making rings out of fake dollars or are they all silver that you use?

It seems to me that if you want to make a coin brring just one time only you still have to go to the time trouble and expense to do it If you can afford to And all your unused tools will eventually rust away It only makes sense if your motive is to make more rings and sell them to make a profit Otherwise don't bother
