I start clinicals in 2 months, first semester nursing student For some reason we start clinicals on the 3rd week alongside fundamentals 😅 Stressed but this was helpful so thank you

Hi Kendra, I’m in the infancy stages of deciding if I want to go into nursing I’m not the brightest bulb on the tree, forgetful and unorganized I ❤ people and really want to care for them in so many ways Im a strong critical thinker I’m thinking to start as a LPN to be sure I can do this after being trained and over coming fear before jumping into becoming an RN Please help!!

I agree with your suggestions Unfortunately my current placement staff have given us no space We are told don't bring books, no refrigerated lunch, no valuables etc etc It's not the warmest way to welcome students

I remember I was in an internship program The nurses were flat out mean Why? I still don't understand it I really believe this is why we do not have headway with reform and changes in the hospital setting We do not value nor respect each other I later became a lead with orientation program with new students that came to our program and right before COVID started was in a pilot program to take senior student on for a full semester I loved it and the students were excited We should STOP being cruel to students and to each other!

I also noticed that a lot of the students always looked for the Clinical Instructors that they heard were easy I always enjoyed going to the ones that they would shy away from I learned so much from those instructors I’m a new subby and I’m really enjoying your videos
