Off subject Do you think there's a correlation between drug abuse and intelligence? Google saysbrStudies Seem To Confirm ItbrThe troubling connection between intelligence and addiction has been highly studied and two recent studies seem to confirm the link between the two The first of these studies was published in 2011 and found that children with high results in IQ tests in 1970 were subsequently more likely to use drugs later in life Specifically, the study found that men who had a mean IQ score of 109 (the highest in the study) were trying drugs much earlier and also used drugs more frequently than those who tested with an IQ of 100 Although the numbers were slightly different for women (regarding both IQ and drug use), they paralleled the results found in the males The second study, published in 2012, studied children born in 1958 What they found was very similar to the first study Although the exact percentages weren’t released, the results of these studies are greatly troubling for people looking for a way to stem the tide of addiction [inline_cta_one] Comment from : @MikellRogers |

I work in a bakery, but I'm a trained car mechanic, I wouldn't become one because I prefer working on my own stuff, cars are more like a passion to me and getting burnt out from my passion is one of the last things I'd like to do Comment from : @Hasio-Maszkietnik |

I work as a school nurse the fulfillment comes with helping the kids everyday deal w their illnesses or mental health issues The part that’s weighing me down heavily is the staff, my coworker school nurses, who are all women and who are nasty, not friendly and just show no interest or care in you It’s like going to work and working alongside total strangers daily Comment from : @sagbeach1 |

I practically never took a job because of the money it paid I always try to do work that I know I’m good at and enjoy doing When doing such work, it’s never been a drudgery I’ve had two jobs I hated and quit in less than a year Both were for companies that had massive internal problems…poor product quality, poor management, or had obviously made bad decisions that were going to put them out of business Working for a poorly managed or dying company is indeed a miserable experience There’s lots of companies in this situation In such situations one should exit immediately Oftentimes, it’s not a problem with you, or one that you can affect in any way Staying in such a job can be harmful for your mental health Comment from : @Tom-tk3du |

I really commend the reality check in this vid, most of the people apply for jobs to fulfill utilitarian needs of life, only those people have careers who have a drive other than utility, no wonder we have very few innovators in the world, the reason being most of us are stuck in utilitarian delusions of life to want something greater to contribute positively for mankind, now here is the paradox, these people only get the most incentives in the world because they dedicate their entire lives to their craft while others live in the delusion of consumerism and call it 'life' to pay their 'bills' for Comment from : @sarveshjewalikar9921 |

Ain’t that the truth as a analyst or law enforcement specialist in the legal field you are looking at working 24/7 365 days a year and in some positions you are required to travel several times a year The pay is rewarding and the benefits are great but the life work balance especially around a family is hard And it’s the same for many doctors So unless you feel truly called to this line of work and are passionate about it and not the money DONT DO IT Comment from : @aaronvalone8524 |
|
I love being pushed to perform important work for long hours My inate manly drive generates energy from that pressure Builds confidence and resilience And my nephew is a physician in Germany, you can work part time, still make a ton of money and enjoy a fulfilling career and life America and Canada are not the template for the entire career culture of the world So sick of this defeatest low energy mindset from this guy Comment from : @winstonbrown347 |

I think this has more to do with how competitive workplaces are in the US, as well as the work/life balance Here in Sweden, if a job has an English title and, for example, is looking for someone who is "hungry," "efficient," "flexible," or similar, you often know it’s a bad job Often American companies In Sweden, employees have relatively strong power over employers compared to the global standard As long as you get an education here, you’ll mostly end up with a career—even as an unattractive, unsympathetic, and complete idiot Its really not worth it, people here tend to work as little as they have to on a job, to live Few live to work Comment from : @JustusWikstrom |
