People will say “ well, you need someone to correct you You’ll remember things incorrectly by yourself “ I’ve come across mistakes I’ve made on my own and you guys can search for it if you feel like you’re making a mistake Chat bots really have taught me well too I think when one applies their intuitive gift they’re able to navigate and find what they need to work on I’ve also found going and chasing people down to talk to annoys them and most of the time they’ll just say “let’s speak in English”

I think learning a new language has to be fun, and with a lot of input you will learn more, english is my second language and it's not a 100 but I'm improving practicing every day, and it's easy if I have fun with it, Videos like this motived me to learn in different ways, and you know when you listen this kind of videos is like you understand everything but in real life people speak faster, but still can understand if you listen English every day :)

I have observed that i have hard time practising speaking at all, its not just confidence but perhaps the ability to put active effort, ie executive function itself, to be less creative in exec functions I know details due to adhd study However, this can explain the same inability to speak English for almost all indians We put our whole life studying english, but end up very bad at it I was the best in English in my class, however, still I am very bad at speaking bec of no practise When I think about alone practise, that too seems impractical or unreal to me, so i am guessing it all has to do with bad executive function in the frontal lobe or something Conceptual passive learning, input, will be of no use if we don't actively practise output This is why Euopeans learn way better than us

i like this, ive been doing something similar just out of intstinct, probably because of been through the formal language acquisition rodeo a few times now not the best imo i call this superior method 'language assimilation' you study the language but instead of trying to fit the target language, you make it your own, using your own resources, experiences and judgments as playgrounds or sandboxes pretty fun
