This video is an example of what annoys me to no end I'm only halfway through but so far it is a few Bible verses and a huge load of speculation based only on the idea that Judas was the bad guy This is the sort of gullibility that mega churches and politicians prey on Only gospel of John tries to paint Judas as a devious person before the betrayal Only John attributes the '300'-comment to Judas An amount that didn't even have anything to do with the purse and finances of the disciples The reality - as far as the gospels go - is that someone needed to pretend to betray Jesus for him to fulfil his destiny That was the only proper way to deliver him to the custody of the Romans in combination with the accusations from the Pharisees Judas stepped up to the task with full knowledge that he would be hated for it But it needed to be done Jesus didn't pay the ultimate sacrifice Judas did, and I really think Christians should begin to recognize that
