Already this video has helped and I am only 4mins in, no one ever told me what the guideline was for so I had always assumed the horizontal part was the middle of the face, or around the nose brIt being the eye line makes WAY more sense!

Up until 8th grade I always was really good at drawing dragons (At least traditionally) because that's all I would draw, many people asked me to teach them so I just showed them what I did step by step and when it turned out well less than what they were hoping for I was really confused because I just thought it was strange how they struggled with drawing the exact same thing I drew step by step, and now I know how they felt as I struggle to learn how to draw humans because there's no way the best art university in my province is gonna accept a student who can only draw cats, big cats, Freddy Fazbear, birds, landscapes, dragons, and pokemon 😭
