I would also recommend with any chords that have the root note A (Asus2, Amaj, Am etc), that you do not play the low E string/6th string, as that is not the root note of the chord Comment from : @BirdPie17

The best beginner chords to learn (in my opinion!) are definitely E,Em and Am You can play a song just by moving your first finger for the most part Include the chord in this video and you have 4 chords learned within minutes!
