Hi! I teach in Spain Your explications are really good and I can see that you can teach confidently While I agree with your points, CCQ and eliciting is very difficult for me as a lot of the students simply do not pay attention and are very unmotivated For example I could explain present perfect and seconds later, they are making mistakes on the specific point I have explained Is there are way to turn this around? Comment from : @curtai14 |

12:00 In the Second Conditional you verbs are in Past Subjunctive nit Simple Past Comment from : @garyfrancis6193 |
11:23 Your first sentence is incorrect Comment from : @garyfrancis6193 |
3:53 In your third sentence you have made a gross grammatical error Comment from : @garyfrancis6193 |

It takes you one minute and 50 secs to get to your point As well like most Americans you have already made a grammatical error in speaking I have been teaching grammar longer than you have been alive Comment from : @garyfrancis6193 |

Wow, I am a native English speaker, 78 years old, and I do not know all of the parts of sentence I remember when I was in grade school how I had trouble with past participles and past this and that I wish this were something that I could use to teach conversational English to some girls in Panama however, if it’s difficult for me, it’ll be impossible for them I’m sure you know what you’re talking about, but it’s above me Comment from : @dollycaswell |

why would the students know that the second conditional is used to express hypothetical situations when it is their first time taking it?!! even the word hypothetical would be difficult for them to guess, I don't think they would even know it They'll probably only guess the word imaginary tho Comment from : @UmaU-pg1mx |
