Buddy, you can’t count 401k etc as “living expenses “ That’s investment and you should be doing that even when you are traveling! That’s almost half your living expenses! I would even argue that with long term travel ideally you should have medical insurance

I Left the middle of America and spent 5 weeks in Hawaii And from the time I left home to getting back home, I figured I spent about $297 And I even made $140 while I was over there, having fun brI have also wondered off to many other parts of the world, in all 28 time zones or all 24 Longitudes Many years I was on 40 or more airplanes I think I've been wondering off, since I was in diapers

Dude, its not the money that is spent, its the money that is not earned thats the significant expense Time >>> dollars actually spent on travel I would do it too, but just cautioning that the math is actually not in favor of traveling, unless the other option was 365 days of unemployment
