I will tell you do not rely on the marker test That's the easiest thing to beat You should be able to crease your hundred-dollar bill right over that blue holographic strip and the actual paper part will separate up and off so you can actually slide a toothpick between that strip and the bill

Except when they wash real bills Teal bills will mark correct with the counterfeit pen Also The ink fades after awhile I've seen bills come in the bank marked with high lighter Dont trust it

There are so many businesses that rely only on the marker test and don’t teach their employees how to check fakes But I ran into an issue once when I paid with a real $100 bill and the marker they used showed dark on the bill so they called their manager took like 10 mins and the manager took 3 seconds and knew the bill was real
