I just find that many parents don't understand education and just blindly purchases courses for their kids without considering their genuine strengths and interests Nor do parents consider the effectiveness of the courses purchased It sucks to say that parents are scapegoats of the educational industry

They always overestimate and give us work thats too advanced and fast paced for our age which often use different methods as well so not only does it confuse students it also overloads us with work

I'm stuck at level H and I'm GRADE 7 My parents won't let me go cuz its "a waste of money and if i go back i start from the beginning" Like literally, Applications of Equations are the HARDEST imo, like at the back of H101, number 3 was hard to understand, I've been trying to find answers online but none of the results are related to it (I commented this while being stuck at h101b #3, though I might break through it)

It absolutely sucks the amount of stress is terrible you get depressed and learn nothing The main teacher Manager lady is really mean Sometimes they give you so much homework I honestly don’t think they should give us homework at all Sometimes you can spend a really long time there because they don’t allow you to leave until you finish your work which is a lot harder than it seems because each work is a book

I started kumon when I was like 3, and finished the English program two years ago when I was around 12 Yep, 9 years Didn't get to go out and about doing sports in my school's summer program :')brIn all those 9 years of leaving the math program and reentering all the worksheets I had to do gave me a lot of stress, especially since I still had mandatory school going on Also the repetitive worksheets are my worst enemy

Rn I'm literaly using a math app to help me with my kumon I take a picture on what I don't understand and it gives u an answer But sometimes it doesn't work so I ask my teacher But sometimes I get stressed out real bad and have a mental breakdown The only thing that actually helps is the memorization of the multiplication table

Pls everyone can have their own opinions 💀 but like I started kumon when I was grade 3 (math) and it became my favorite my favorite subject 💀 everyone’s stressing about how hard it is- but it actually helped me- my grade went from a 92 to 97 Plus my family had a business just below kumon so i would go overtime from 4-6 maybe even 7-?
