It's great that they learned a lot, but, they knew that there could be serious consequences Lobotomies may have been the thing for years, but this is a human brain you can't just remove an entire section of it and not expect to render someone immediately lifeless He was really used as a test subject plain and simple I'd like to know what previous research was done that led them to believe removing any part of the hippocampus helped with emotions without having any long-term effects But lesson learned, don't leave your brain in the hands of a daredevil neurosurgeon

Wow, sad for HM I took care of my mom with 16 years diagnosed with Alzheimer's I was the caregiver This type of illness is not curable I learn and inform myself about the brain I noticed eventhough my mom did not recognize me, but she always show her emotions and affection to me I change her meals into nutrition and vitamins She did wonderful Even Dr's were impressed how her Alzheimer's keep the same Now, I am the advocate for elderly people Also I am a music teacher My career has helped me to learn how the brain is connected

That's why we remember bad events more easily than good ones; we keep going over and over in our head what happened, especially if we're a victim of crime when police want us to go through it step by step repeatedly Apparently, beta blockers help minimize the trauma associated with a bad event if given soon enough It doesn't affect recall but minimizes the emotional response and into the future
